Ariana Grande has taken over Selena Gomez's spot as the #1 most followed woman on Instagram, but she might not be winning for long.

The "Sweetener" singer surpassed Gomez on Monday with 146,442,767 followers, while the "Wolves" songstress is currently sitting at 146,327,355. That number is in constant flux though, as Selenators seem to be fighting for their queen to take back the title.

The Blast office has been staring at the numbers, and within seconds the mere thousands between them went up and down.

Gomez has held the top spot since July 2016. Shortly after, she became the first IG user to reach 100 million.

While Grande and Gomez are currently battling for the most followed woman on the Gram, soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is still the most followed person on the social media platform. He took that title last year and currently has 155,985,043 followers.
