Martin Lawrence is a year older, and Will Smith is over the moon about it!

Smith threw together the sweetest reel of him and his "Bad Boys" co-star to celebrate the latter's 58th birthday on Sunday, April 16. The pair have been oozing bromance since they announced that the fourth installment of the action comedy film, aired in 1995, was in pre-production earlier this year.

Will Smith Celebrated Martin Lawrence's 58th Birthday With The Sweetest Throwback Compilation

Smith and Lawrence have been the hallmark of bromance since they first connected in the '90s for the first installment of the "Bad Boys" franchise. Even though parts of the compilation were old, Smith ensured their love for each other was visible in the clip he shared with his nearly 63 million followers on Sunday.

The reel began with a selfie-mode video showing the movie stars lamenting how cold the weather was, with Lawrence screaming, "Sh******t!" Soon, viewers saw the "Emancipation" actor running after his friend to tell him, "You're not short; you're pleasantly petite."

The friends shared more than one inside joke and had multiple laugh-out-loud moments, including one that saw the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star loudly singing, "Marty Mar lights up my life."

After reiterating that they are "bad boys for life," Smith ultimately decided not to include more adorable moments between him and the comedian as he explained that his fans "could handle no more of that."

As expected, fans could not stop appreciating the good vibes in the "Happy B-Day Marty Mar!!" captioned post. While one person called it the "best birthday post" they have seen in a while, another dubbed it the "best post ever."

A third fan claimed that Smith and Lawrence's chemistry was "hypnotic," and a fourth typed, "the friendship we all need in our lives." A fifth Instagram user commented, "You two are just a perfect pair of laughs. Love you, guys."

Lovers of the "Big Momma's House" star and the "Men in Black" actor have remained in high spirits since news that the duo was most recently sighted on the set of the highly-anticipated "Bad Boys 4" broke.

Per PEOPLE, Lawrence — who plays Marcus Burnett — was seen arriving on set in a maroon tracksuit and matching sneakers, and his buddy — who plays Mike Lowrey — was spotted stepping out of his trailer in his character's costume.

The famed friends had announced the return of the much-loved franchise in a joint video statement shared in January. The clip started with the "Bel-Air" executive producer recording himself as he drove to Lawrence's home, playing "Shake Ya Tailfeather" — the song that Diddy, Nelly, and Murphy Lee recorded as the "Bad Boys II" soundtrack.

Upon his arrival at the "Martin" alum's home, Smith and Lawrence greeted each other and subsequently confirmed production on the action comedy project. The announcement, uploaded to Instagram, was aptly captioned, "IT'S ABOUT THAT TIME!"

The Blast observed that the news was widely accepted by fans and celebrities alike, with Charlie Mack — real name Charles E. Alston, commenting, "What we went do, when we come four them!!!!! Please put me in coach for the Last Hoorah!!!!!! #BB4Life.”

Even Nick Cannon suggested that they should name the upcoming film "BAD BOYS 4 EVER!!!" and a fan expressed readiness for "Bad Boy, whatever number it is."

As if that news was not enough, it was further reported that Vanessa Hudgens would be reprising her role as a guns expert in the Hollywood film. The "High School Musical" actress first appeared in the franchise three years ago in "Bad Boys for Life."

That installment enjoyed tremendous success at the Box Office in 2020, making it clear why production wants her to return. Luckily, other familiar names, including writer Chris Bremner, would also return to the lineup.

In the directors' seats would be Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi, who handled the third round. Other notable crew members are Smith for Westbrook, Doug Belgrad, Jerry Bruckheimer, and Chad Oman — who would be back producers.

Lawrence is also said to be executive producing the fourth film alongside James Lassiter, Mike Stenson, Barry Waldman, and Jon Mone.
