Last week, The Blast reported an incident regarding an adult who struck a child in the face with a dog leash at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Now, another incident has occurred at The Most Magical Place on Earth, which involves a Guest biting off a chunk of another Guest's finger.
Guests Fight Over Fireworks Spot At EPCOT
A Guest visiting Walt Disney World from California was hospitalized in December after another Disney Guest bit off a part of her middle finger during an argument at EPCOT.
According to a report, the Orange County Sheriff's Office released information about the incident nearly four months after the fight on December 13, 2022.
During Harmonious, the now-retired fireworks show at EPCOT, a fight broke out between two Guests -- the California woman and her family and Emily, a 26-year-old woman from Pennsylvania.
The police report states Emily was blocking the California family during the nighttime show and then elbowed someone in the family. Someone from the family confronted Emily, to which the 26-year-old then "proceeded to get irate" and attacked one of them, scratching the unidentified California native in the face.
The California woman then "attempted to separate her relatives away from Emily," per the report. "As (she) pushed Emily away from her and her family, Emily bit (her) middle finger and proceeded to kick, yell, and scream at (her) and her family," the report continued.
Emily then tried to leave the scene. However, the California family reported her to a Disney Cast Member who followed her so they did not lose sight of her.
California Woman Notices Part Of Her Finger Is Missing
Later on, the woman visiting Disney World from California noticed she was bleeding, to which a sheriff's deputy "observed a chunk of the meaty portion of her middle finger was missing," per the report.
Multiple people, including Emily, had scratch marks due to the physical altercation.
Law enforcement questioned Emily, to which she denied doing anything wrong in the incident. The report stated, "Emily stated multiple people beat her up. She stated she was the one beat up and did not know why she was the one in handcuffs." Emily was restrained after she made comments about harming herself and "her uncontrollable manner," per the police report.
Emily, who law enforcement later found out has a history of mental health issues, asked for mental health help after being restrained.
The 26-year-old was put on Baker Aacted -- an involuntary hold for up to 72 hours for people to receive emergency mental health services.
According to Orange Circuit Court online records, no criminal charges were filed against Emily.
This is not the first incident to be reported at Disney Parks. Last week, The Blast said an incident regarding an adult who struck a child in the face with a dog leash at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
