Joy-Anna Duggar Says She's 'Pretty Excited' In 'Big Pregnancy Update'

TV personality Joy-Anna Duggar recently posted an update about her third pregnancy, sharing news from her doctor's appointment.

Duggar spoke about being prepared to give birth and said her "hormones have been insane recently." Last month, the 25-year-old teased fans with her due date during a Q&A session on social media.

Joy-Anna Duggar shared an update on her third pregnancy with fans via a video on her YouTube page. The "19 Kids and Counting" star has extensively documented the pregnancy on the channel and even shared the video of her and her husband, Austin Forsyth, finding out they were expecting a third child.

In the new clip, Duggar took fans with her to a doctor's appointment, where she shared photos of the sonogram and details of the baby's health. The 25-year-old told fans she's having a beautiful baby boy and said the appointment "went well."

She said, per The Sun, "Baby measures right on 33 weeks. The doctor was like – he said that it could just be the baby's position at this point. The baby's moving a lot at this point, so the belly measurement is not completely accurate. Anyway, everything is going well. Everything looked good: blood pressure, my vitals, everything, so I'm pretty excited."

Duggar shared more details about her subsequent doctor appointments with fans, saying she'll soon start having "every-week appointments." She said, "And then, next appointment, we should be able to schedule my induction date and get an idea of what we're gonna plan for."

The reality star spoke about being excited about being so close to having her baby and said, "It's getting real, and it's getting close." She added that she was initially prepared to give birth and not worried, but the closer the date, the more her hormones got out of control.

Duggar stated, "I've been super emotional about everything. I'm not nervous about having another baby, but I guess all the unknowns of the what-ifs. If I think about it too long, it's like, 'OK, well, what if this, what if that.' So I have to give it to the Lord and trust that everything will be OK."

Last month, Duggar had a Q&A session with fans on social media, where she answered the most common questions, like how many weeks her pregnancy was. Another question was, "Do you want more kids after this?" And Duggar responded with, "I've been saying like four or five, but we'll see."

In the video, Duggar shared, "The other most commonly asked question was, 'Have you named your baby yet?' [and] 'What's your baby's name?'" She responded that she and her husband Forsyth have yet to name their son but have a "list of like five names," which are their current options.

In a December video titled "Christmas Time Q&A," Duggar shared a clue about her son's name. When a fan asked for their name ideas, she said, "Just to give you guys a sneak peek, we are using James either as a first or middle name. I think it will probably be used as a middle name."

Duggar explained that Forsyth's father died a few years ago, and he'd promised to use "James" in their next son's name. She said, "We will have James mixed in there somewhere. His name was Edwin James Forsyth, and it was about using his name and honoring him that way."

After she dropped a hint, fans quickly pointed out that James was also the name of Duggar's father, Jim Bob. They also noted that they loved the subtle shade of the couple in how they specified the "James" being honored between the two.

A fan wrote, per The Sun, "I love the unintentional shade at James being 100% for Austin's grandfather and not at all for Jimbob."
