R. Kelly Alleged Victim's Family Enraged at Gayle King for Giving Singer Platform

The family of R. Kelly's alleged girlfriend are extremely upset at the singer giving an interview to CBS, but they're even more upset at Gayle King for giving him a soap box to cry on without speaking to everyone involved.
Gerald Griggs, the attorney for Joycelyn Savage's family, tells The Blast Joycelyn's parents were shocked after seeing the teaser clip of King speaking with the singer for "CBS This Morning."
"If you're going to have Mr. Kelly on the show, why not put Joycelyn Savage on the show, or have her parents on to speak about the situation?!" Griggs demanded, adding, "That's the easiest way to prove it's not true."
We're told the Savage family believes King gave Kelly a platform to look like a victim, and they scoff at the R&B star's crocodile tears. In the preview, Kelly screams about his innocence while crying and claiming he's "fighting for my f*cking life!"
The Savage family believes, if Kelly did nothing wrong, then "put the young ladies in front of their parents ... it's been two-and-a-half years!"

As we reported, the family believes Kelly brainwashed their daughter, and are currently working with law enforcement in Georgia and Chicago, including the FBI, to make contact. Joycelyn has claimed she's with Kelly on her own free will, but has not spoken publicly about the star.
From watching the teaser clip, we're told the Savage family believes King should have been "more intentional with her questions," instead of letting Kelly rant about his innocence. They feel that the interview is putting King "on the wrong side of history" when it comes to covering Kelly's criminal charges.
Griggs also questions Kelly's attorney for allowing his client to participate in the interview as the criminal case gears up, telling us, "Everything he says can and will be used against him in the court of law."
We're told the Savage family will be watching the full interview with Gayle King very closely when it airs Wednesday morning.
