Drake Bell's Loved Ones Were On Alert For His Wellbeing Prior To Disappearance

Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell had been reported missing on Wednesday night.

The "Amanda Show" alum had been described by Daytona Beach police as being "missing and endangered." Law enforcement had also been concerned for his safety.

Earlier today, Bell had been found safe by Daytona Beach police. He had also been in contact with law enforcement. (via WESH News in Orlando, Florida)

The "I Found A Way" singer was last seen in the Mainland High School area around 9 PM Wednesday. He had been behind the wheel of a 2022 grey BMW.

According to The Blast's initial report on Bell's disappearance, the actor had pleaded guilty to an attempted child endangerment case. He has also completed his probation for the incident.

The "Drake and Josh" actor had allegedly been engaged in inappropriate conduct with an underage girl at a venue wherein he had been scheduled to perform. Bell also allegedly had an online relationship with the minor.

Sources have revealed that Bell's family had cause for concern over the actor's well-being in recent days.

According to Us Weekly, Bell's family had been on alert prior to Daytona Police's discovery he had been found safe. The source tells the outlet, "There was some communication with family members that caused concern so they are worried about him and looking for him."

He had allegedly failed to inform some family members about his arrival in Florida, the outlet also reported.

Bell's family and friends "are all just listening and waiting and hoping" to hear from the actor. They also shared they did not have any further information to share at the time of publication.

The actor has endured legal trouble in the last few years.

As The Blast previously reported, Bell had just recently completed his court-mandated probation for "two counts of attempted child endangerment and disseminating matters harmful to juveniles."

The hearing took place in 2021.

The judge told Bell, "My understanding is that there's been a plea agreement reached where the defendant will plead guilty to count one attempted endangering children, a felony in the fourth degree [and] plead guilty to count two: disseminating matter harmful to individuals, a misdemeanor in the first degree."

The judge continued, "However if you go to prison, upon your release, you could be subjected to a discretionary period of three years post-release control. Post-release control could involve restrictions on your activities. If you were to violate those restrictions, you could return to prison [for] up to a maximum of one-half your original sentence," he continued.

Bell indicated he understood the terms.

He spoke during his sentencing, telling the court, "Today I accept this plea because my conduct was wrong. I'm sorry that the victim was harmed in any way- that was obviously not my intention. I have taken this matter very seriously, and again, I just want to apologize to her and anyone else who may have been affected by my actions," he concluded.

Bell and his wife, Janet Von Schemling, share a son. Their baby boy was born in 2021.
