Lindsie Chrisley Reveals 'Divorce Won't Be An Option If She Gets Married Again

Lindsie Chrisley is taking a stance on what she wants from her subsequent marriage!
The "Chrisley Knows Best" alum, who got married to her ex-husband, Will Campbell, in her early twenties, announced in July 2021 that they were going their separate ways.
Chrisley, who later finalized her divorce from Campbell in October of the same year, recently announced on the latest episode of her podcast that she wouldn't be considering getting divorced in her future marriage.
Lindsie Chrisley Says 'Divorce Is Not An Option For Her Anymore
The TV personality turned full-time podcaster reflected on her experiences from her past marriage and revealed lessons she's learned since getting divorced.
Taking to her podcast series called "The Southern Tea," the former reality star engaged her listeners with the life-changing decision she's chosen to stand by.
She began by saying, "I think that we have to dial it back that if you're putting yourself in a position to get married, then you should be putting yourself in a position to work through all of your problems, and divorce not is an option."
Chrisley shed light on her previous marriage to her ex-husband, Campbell, and that of her parents — Todd Chrisley and her mother, his ex-wife, Teresa Terry — to elaborate on her point.
The media personality said, "I came from divorced people, and [Will] didn't. So any problems his parents have ever had. They've worked through them because they're still married today."
Focusing on her parents, she added, "Any problems my parents had? First of all, I don't even remember my parents being together. That's a whole other story for another day." She further noted that seeing her parents' relationship helped her mindset additionally on the normality of divorce, even after her famous dad embarked on a "successful marriage" with his current wife, Julie Chrisley.
The podcaster explained, "What I came from was two people who left a marriage, so I was like, 'Well, you know, you just get divorced.' Like, that was acceptable. And I think that once you allow it to be an acceptable out, that to me is problematic."
Chrisley declared her resolution: "I would not go into another marriage with the option of divorce. That might be an option for somebody else, but it will not be for me."
The 'Chrisley Knows Best' Alum Confirmed Her New Relationship Status
Although Chrisley's decision to quit her former marriage came with a lot of pain, the podcaster has since moved on to find a new partner.
Earlier covered by People Magazine, the mom of one revealed that she had gotten into a new relationship a year after leaving her ex-husband, Campbell. She took her Instagram to share the news but didn't reveal her partner's name. Uploading a video of herself and her man having an intimate moment, she disclosed in the caption, writing, "I prayed for you."
She continued, "He waltzed into my life unexpectedly and swept me off my feet. It has not been perfect as we have gotten to know one another as individuals, as parents of our collective children, and as partners within this relationship. I've learned that I'm not seeking perfection at this stage in my life, and who decides what's perfect anyway"?
Chrisley also noted how God's timing was the best. She wrote, "God's plan is always the best. Sometimes the process is painful and hard. But don't forget when God is silent; he is doing something good for you."
The podcaster further addressed her faith and the longevity of their relationship, adding, "I can't wait to see how we grow together in all aspects, as this relationship has opened my eyes to so many things in life. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be."
Chrisley Addressed The Possibility Of Reconnecting with Her Ex
Although the South Carolina native has parted ways with her ex-husband, they share a 10-year-old son and keep a cordial relationship. As for rekindling her love for Campbell, the podcaster cleared the air on that.
Per The Blast, Chrisley took to her Instagram Story to address a question about her former husband. The question read, "Do you think it could be God's plan to bring you and Will back together?"
Uploading a video to answer her fans, the TV personality looked sporty as she donned a black hoodie, a gray undershirt, and a red cap.
She responded, "All I can do is pray for God's will to be done, whatever that is if that is for us to be happy in relationships with other people. Then that's what I hope for. Whatever God's will is for that to be done."
