Katie Price Skips Bankruptcy Hearing As Debt Continues To Loom

Katie Price has avoided a bankruptcy court hearing for a fifth time regarding her debt repayment.

In 2019, the former glamour model, who was a top earner at one point in her life, declared bankruptcy. In 2021, she was hit with a repossession order on her mansion in London for half a million pounds in debt.

After that, Price agreed to pay £12,000 a month to the creditors, but according to those she owed the cash, the mom of five has not been sticking to the deal. Reportedly, she is not only refusing to settle the debt, but she is also avoiding court hearings. 

The 44-year-old refuses to answer questions over her £3.2 million mortgage debts. Much of the cash is owed to lenders for mortgages secured against her so-called Mucky Mansion in West Sussex.

She had been expected to appear in person at the bankruptcy court in London on April 12th to be grilled on her multiple income streams and explain how she plans to pay off her creditors. The scheduled hearing was moved from February, and she previously pulled the same trick in November 2021.

As reported by Daily Mail, if she showed up, the media personality would have been ordered by the court to reveal details of her income, including her Depop page. Through the fashion marketplace page, she raked in tens of thousands of pounds and has flogged 2,500 items, many being top designer brands.

Her primary source of income is her £12-a-month OnlyFans page, where she posts adult content like raunchy photos and videos. The bankruptcy trustees will want to confirm how much she has been paid for her TV work, including her Channel 4 show where she attempted to renovate her £2m country mansion.

Before evading her court hearing, the reality star declared a drama-free 2022 after a terrible accident. The Blast reported how she opened up about her "traumatic" substance-induced car crash.

The "Katie & Peter" star went on "Good Morning Britain" with her eldest son, Harvey, and revealed that she was ashamed of her irresponsible actions. The "Signed by Katie Price" star rocked a pink long-sleeved top and ripped jeans while her son paired a colorful top with black trousers.

The "Angel" author reiterated that she was "ashamed" about the drug-induced ordeal. However, she believed the public shouldn't judge her without knowing the whole story. She admitted that the events leading to and after the crash were tough to discuss but was getting help from a therapist.

The "Eurovision Song Contest" alum didn't want to dwell much on the tragic incident during the interview as she proudly declared 2022 as a fresh start with zero drama. In her words: "2022 is my year; 22 is my lucky number. My birthday. The main box is on Deal or No Deal. This has to be my year of no dramas."

Last March, The Blast noted that the "Angel Uncovered" author enjoyed a romantic getaway in Thailand with her fiancé Carl Woods. She took to her Instagram Stories, sharing various clips, including steamy videos from her vacation with her beau.

The first clip, captioned with a red heart emoji, showed the former "Love Island" contestant walking towards the beach after a nice dive in the sea. It displayed her tattoos, toned abdominal muscles, and tanned body.

Others showed the lovebirds enjoying the luxurious pool inside their Thailand hotel. The videos were tagged "Have You Seen My Latest Youtube Video?" In the snap, the "Celebrity Big Brother" alum" sported a nasty sunburn that caused white patches on her nose, lips, and below her hairline.

She confirmed the view with a shocked face emoji and the words, "Face and nose peeling and burnt lips" But these painful burns didn't stop her holiday as another video showed the media personality going down a water slide.
