Singer Tallia Storm is embarking on a shocking new career move.

Although the 24-year-old singer just dropped her new song, “Addicted,” and its music video, it looks like she is planning to make a career move and start a “day job.”

The Glasgow native revealed that she is the host of Capital Scotland’s new breakfast show and will be joining presenter Fat Brestovci from 6 AM to 10 AM on weekday mornings.

Although plenty of fans know Tallia for her singing voice, they’re about to know her for her speaking voice pretty soon, as she announced on Instagram Tuesday morning that she is “delighted” to be the new breakfast show host every weekday morning.

“New show alert 🚨 A Storm is coming 😜🌪️📻,” she wrote in the caption along with some applicable emojis. “I’m delighted to announce that I’m joining Scotland’s No 1 hit music station as the official new breakfast show host with Fat Brestovci from the 2nd May 😍.”

“Just in case you hadn't had enough of me on tiktok, over posting on IG or sharing my music video every 3 days - you now get to listen to my Scottish bants Monday - Friday 6am - 10am 🥵 How lucky are you?!?” she joked.

“Jokes aside, what a dream come true. So excited to be joining the @capitalofficial family,” she continued. “I'm so grateful for this opportunity & can't wait to get started. Brb now I need to remember how I passed my test & find myself a first car - suggestions welcome.”

After a long string of emojis, Tallia emphasized that this is not a “career change,” adding, “PS No career change, I'm in show business baby. This incredible job allows me to learn a new craft, finish my day job before lunch and record in the studio every afternoon! They don't call me a hustler for no reason - I'm an entertainer...wait till you see what else is coming.”

After the announcement, the “Ring Ring Ring” singer opened up about her new career move. In her remarks, as reported by the Daily Mail, Tallia described how having her “first ever radio gig” in her hometown was a “full circle moment.”

“Having my first ever radio gig on Capital in my hometown with Fat is such a dream come true and a full circle moment,” she explained. “I grew up listening to Capital on my way to school, so it means the world to be back in Scotland and a part of the Capital family.”

“Scotland holds such a special place in my heart, and I've been looking for the right opportunity to come home so I'm really excited about this new role – bring the banter and waking up the nation with Fat,” she continued.

“We're both obsessed with music and pop culture so it's literally a match made in heaven,” she went on. “We're hoping to have some iconic guests on the show too, I'd love to get Lewis Capaldi in, I can't stop listening to his new album and watching his hilarious videos.”

Although she didn’t share what other musical guests she plans to bring on the show, she did tease that she is hoping to make some “new friends” with her new job. “We're going to be bringing the energy, chaos, and top hits all morning long and I'm so excited to get started and make some new friends along the way,” she added.

Her new co-host Fat Brestovci added, “I've been part of the Capital family since 2017 but getting the opportunity to host the breakfast show with Tallia Storm live from the heart of Scotland is such an amazing opportunity and we can't wait to bring the listeners along on the journey with us.”

“I love the fact that Tallia and I are on this adventure together; we get on and just vibe together so well,” he continued. “I can't wait to be on air every morning to entertain listeners and bring something a little bit different!”

Even though fans are excited to hear the "Boyfriend" singer on the radio, they're hoping that she'll be putting out some new music later this year too!
