However, once she feels ready to depart, she will enroll in an outpatient mental health treatment program to continue her progress toward recovery. Sources disclosed that she will now make her own medical decisions as she is no longer under a conservatorship lifted in 2022 after being in place for nine years.

Also, contrary to reports, her parents have not been with her during her hospitalization but have continued to support and assist her in any way possible. As previously reported by the outlet, the "She's the Man" star made headlines last month when she was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles naked.

She had flagged down a vehicle and called 911 to report that she was experiencing a psychotic episode and needed assistance. Following her call, she was placed on a psychiatric hold and has remained in the hospital ever since.

The cause of her current situation might be related to her significant weight loss, which is suspected of having resulted from prescription drug abuse. The Blast noted that insiders revealed that she had been experiencing considerable change in recent months. They pointed out that those close to her suspected she might have abused prescription medication, which caused her to drop below 100 pounds.

Amanda Bynes Rekindles Relationship With Ex-Fiancé Paul Michael

After a brief summer breakup, the "What a Girl Wants" actress and her former beau reportedly reconciled and got back together. The Blast detailed that sources claimed Michael moved back into Bynes' Los Angeles home just weeks after the couple split.

While it was unclear if the engagement was back on, it seemed like she was willing to give their relationship another chance. However, people close to them were not surprised as they claimed that the pair had a pattern of reconciling and finding their way back to each other. This meant their reunion at the time was just another chapter in their tumultuous romance.
