'Love Is Blind' Alum Bartise Bowden Is A Dad; 'Gonna Be The Hero For Him'

When you think you've seen and heard it all from "Love Is Blind" and "Perfect Match" alum Bartise Bowden, he drops some exciting news out of the left field. He's a dad!

An Instagram post on Friday shared the big news that Bowden, 27, is a dad to a baby boy. And while no other information has been shared - the baby's name, who the mom is, age of the child - his news blindsided many who had no idea the reality star, who's been called a "villain," is a father.

The only information that Bowden shared in the caption was that he's a dad. "Might've been the villain on tv, but I'm going to be the hero for him. Instagram, meet my little man ❤️ #bigfella," the caption reads.

Bowden shared a carousel of photos of his new dad life with his "big fella."

In one slide of the Instagram post, he shares a video of him and his son watching Tiger Woods on TV. "Ready to see your first ever Tiger Wood golf show? Look at that. Let's see if he watches," the new dad said. "I used to do this with my dad. There it goes, there it goes, there goes Tiger."

Sharing his big news had his social media followers confused and commenting on their thoughts and questions.

"Bartise being the first dad after Perfect Match was not on my bingo card," one person hilariously wrote in the comments.

"Someone tag me when you find out who the mom is ?," wrote another. One follower then added, "I'm gonna need you, internet detectives, to figure this one out ?"

One reality show viewer asked, "The math ain't matching. He did two shows back-to-back. Wouldn't that mean he left a girl pregnant at home to go find someone else on a dating show?"

One person responded, "This baby looks at least a few months old, so that would've been like a year ago. Sounds like he got someone pregnant the second he got back from filming."

Another follower added, "I think we missed a chapter."

After Bowden's announcement on Instagram, many reality fans took to TikTok to share their confusion on the timing of the baby's arrival with filming "Love Is Blind" and "Perfect Match."

TikToker, Rikkii, who goes by @Storytimewithrikkii on the platform, shared a video breaking down the timeline a bit. She also explained that this is not "Love Is Blind" Nancy's baby.

"And for those of you guys tagging me in my super old video about Nancy and Bartise having a baby, no, this is not Nancy's baby," Rikkii said in the video. "I feel like it's pronounced that this is not Nancy's baby."

She continued her video by posing the question about when this child was conceived since Bowden was on a dating reality show filmed about a year ago.

"So if my calculations serve me correctly, if this baby is any older than three months, then Bartise was filming 'Perfect Match' while he had a woman pregnant," she said. "Sounds about right."

Another TikToker, Zachary Reality, did some digging and tried to help clear up the timeline.

"What I have here is the screenshot of Bartise's Story when he gave us the timeline about when everything was filmed," he said in his video while showing one of Bowden's previous Instagram Stories showing when each show was filmed.

"So 'Perfect Match' was filmed in March 2022. Right now, it is April 2023. So, it's safe to say that he got someone pregnant about three months after he got home from filming 'Perfect Match.'"

Many followers commented that the baby looked about three months old and wanted to know who the baby's mother was.

Zachary added a message in the comments, "I can confirm the baby mama is NOT from the 'Perfect Match' cast."
