Genevieve Padalecki Details The Events Leading Up To Her Breast Implants Removal

Padalecki, who has been in the eyes of the public since her TV debut, has spoken candidly about why she took out her breast implants soon after getting them. The "Wildfire" star addressed the incident during her time on Peggy Rometo and Kimberly Van Der Beek's "Bathroom Chronicles" podcast, where she noted that her troubles began after she noticed this "shift" in her body at age 40.

She explained that even though mothers did not care what anyone thought, it sometimes got to a point where they missed what their bodies looked like before children. "I wanted to just build upon my appearance and just feel good, and I got consults to get breast implants," the "Supernatural" guest star continued, adding that she had "many, many consults" before she finally decided:

After listening to the doctor cautioning her against getting the implants, becoming "aware of the pros and the cons," and "going back and forth" with herself, the mother-of-three ultimately decided to follow through. She said:

"I got breast implants done a year and a half ago, and I felt great. I felt very sexy. They were the exact same size as my breast used to be before breastfeeding, so it didn't feel that different."

However, less than a month after the procedure, the 42-year-old beauty began noticing bodily changes that "didn't feel quite right." The first symptom was her getting tired after jogging for "more than two or three miles," despite her running history.

That continued as she made family-related excuses for her lack of endurance until she realized, "I can't run. This is weird." As she made that realization, other symptoms began sticking out to Padalecki, including some "weird pains" in her joints.

A hospital visit and a breast scan eventually revealed that her lymph nodes were "really inflamed." She explained that although she did not feel sick, her "body was just starting to feel inflamed, and it just didn't feel right."

At that point, the "Kids in America" star decided to undo the implant procedure, especially since she wanted to return to doing the things she enjoyed, like running. The decision paid off as she experienced a "pretty profound" turnaround— she ran for six miles two weeks later, a feat that she had been unable to achieve "in at least a year." After mentioning that she no longer had joint pains, Paladecki said:

"I feel very different. I feel like I'm in my body. My body is not inflamed. I feel normal. I feel like I can move the way I used to be able to move. So for me, it was the right decision."
