The model prisoner keeps herself busy as alive as one can save themselves while locked up. She is writing a play titled “The Real Housewives of Bryan,” as in FC Bryan, the name of the prison camp she is serving her 6.5 years, sorry, 5.5 years now.

We called her a model jailed citizen for a reason! Shah’s manager, Chris Giovanni, shared that her play is in early development. In a conversation with TMZ, Giovanni detailed that Shah is doing everything, including teaching some prisoners how to read.

The script will revolve around fake “housewives” locked up at FC Bryan in Texas. He shared that the personalities of Shah’s characters will be “cranked up to 11.”

Shah did promise to make the most of her time while in prison, and it looks like that is what she is doing. She has nothing else to do anyway. She has worked in the library and the education department since surrendering in February.

This is what qualifies Shah to teach prisoners how to read. There has to be some course guide she is following or a certified teacher helping her along the way. She stuck to her word and made the most of her time while locked up.

Jen has also been working on her physical self as well. She regularly visits the gym and has lost around 15 pounds from working out daily. Plus, she eats less because a little bit of old Jen is still there, and she finds the food “subpar.”

Before going to prison, Shah practiced Islam and continued to observe her faith while behind bars. She is currently participating in Ramadan, fasting and praying daily with a group of other Muslim inmates.

Besides her personal development, Giovanni shares that Shah is manufacturing great friendships and encouraging other ladies to stay strong and keep their heads up while toughening their sentences.

We can imagine Jen’s husband, Coach Sharrieff Shah, is proud of his wife for continuing to pursue her religion. Even before Shah was known as a criminal housewife, she and Coach Shah would practice their faith together and pray on TV many times.

He always maintained that prayer would get you through anything. He also has been giving his wife regular updates via her prison cell.

A few days ago, news broke that Shah may not have to spend 6.5 years in prison. Instead, it will be 5.5 years. She is now scheduled to be released on August 30, 2028. A rep for Shah spoke to People and said:

“I have spoken with my client Jen Shah over the phone this week — she is doing well and remains committed to making her victims whole.” He continued. “She has initiated her payments towards restitution, and we hope to have her home as soon as possible so that she may resume life with her family and work, putting this chapter of her life behind her.”
