"Love Is Blind" season four contestant Zach Goytowski set the bar high for pod serenades on "Love Is Blind!"

Well, it depends on who you ask.

Goytowski proposed to Irina Solomonova in the pods following an initial connection with fellow contestant Bliss Poureetezadi. Before Goytowski got down on one knee, he used his pipes and alleged songwriting skills to pour his heart out to his future fiancée. The resulting scene quickly made the rounds on social media for how "cringy" Twitter users found it.

[There are spoilers ahead!]

The cringe level arguably increased after Solomonova seemed visibly uncomfortable around her man. The pair eventually decided to end their relationship before heading to the altar! Goytowski finally reunites with Poureetezadi and proposes to her.

Goytowski's 'Irina' Song Is A Cover!

A TikTok user took to 'the clock app' earlier this week to point out a little easter egg: Goytowski had been covering a song by the alternative band Ludo!

In the video, the user plays the scene, which starts with Goytowski telling Solomonova he had written her a song and said to the camera, "The only thing that could make this more cringy is if he didn't write the song."

She plays a snippet of Goytowski singing the first verse before the TikTok cuts to a YouTube video of Ludo's track, "Sara's Song." Viewers also get to hear a few additional verses as well!

Fans were genuinely flabbergasted to hear the news.

"NO WAY," one user exclaimed.

"I saw a comment, and apparently, producers did him dirty because he was joking about writing it," another speculated.

"Am I the only one who thought he was being sarcastic when he said he wrote it?" a TikToker asked. "Like barley stone was not the first image in his head!"

There was also some love for Ludo in the comments as well!

"lmao, I love Ludo," a fan commented.

"okay, but Ludo was great," another chimed in.

"When he said Blarney Stone, I was like, there's no way he wrote that because WHY?" another TikToker exclaimed.

"It's okay, but he sang it to Irina. If it were Bliss, it would be a different story," another user said.

"No, because the original song is so good it's been a fave since I was 14," a fan shared.

Goytowski Clears Up The Situation

The man of the hour would eventually speak out about his songwriting snafu on Instagram and would set the record straight!

"Ludo is my favorite band," Goytowski later wrote in his Instagram comments. "And that was my favorite song from them. That and the entire 'broken bride' album. I credited that song to them," he clarified, "I sang the entire song from beginning to end. It just gets cut because everyone turns off their TV after 30 seconds. It wasn't an original. I changed [d] some of the lyrics. Probably one of my top five most embarrassing moments," he concluded. (via Elite Daily)

The post where Goytowski addresses the lyrical slip-up is a video where he asks his followers a critical favor. Before season four was released on Netflix late last month, he cautioned his audience not to go after cast members receiving negative behavior within the form. He asked that they be given "grace" and encouraged the audience to pray for them instead.

The live reunion finale of "Love Is Blind" season four will be streamed on the platform Sunday, April 16th!
