Mick Jagger is unable to get clearance to perform with the Rolling Stones, so they are postponing an upcoming tour in North America.
According to a statement released Saturday morning by the legendary rock band, "Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment."
The statement does not reveal what ailment Jagger is dealing with, but says, "The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible."
No more details regarding the 75-year-old's health condition were available, but the Stones were set to kick off their No Filter Tour next month in Miami.
Jagger also released a statement, telling fans, "I’m so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets. I really hate letting you down like this. I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone."
