Amanda Kloots has revisited the moment she drove her late husband, Nick Cordero, to the hospital at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
The next few months were the most difficult for the television personality as her husband fought for — and eventually lost — his life in July 2020. Kloots kept her sanity by providing real-time updates about Cordero's health struggles through Instagram, a tradition she has intentionally continued.

Almost three years after Cordero died from complications caused by COVID-19, Kloots had looked back at the day in March 2020 when she took him to the hospital. She emphasized the occurrence in an emotional tribute to the actor on Thursday, March 30, which marked the third anniversary of his hospitalization.
"The Talk" host uploaded a throwback image that showcased him holding up their happy-looking baby boy, Elvis Eduardo, in the air. While the Broadway star donned a blue denim shirt and a smile, his son wore a sky-blue onesie.
"March 30, 2020, is an engrained [SIC] in my brain forever as it's my last day with my husband. There are days in my life I wish I could go back in time to, and this is one of them," she wrote under the pic.
If she could reach Cordero, she would give him "the biggest kiss," "hold him in a never-ending hug," and declare her love for him "one million times." The "Fit for Christmas" actress admitted to naively thinking that she would "pick him up in two hours" before revealing what his subsequent, unexpected death had taught her:
"I've learned to say different goodbyes. I've learned to always tell people you love them. I've learned that life is fragile and we are not invincible."
Kloots rounded up her tribute by urging her fans to "Live and love to the fullest." Even though she limited the comments the post could receive, she was still shown immense love by her community of supporters, with this person calling her "a true inspiration to millions who've lost a loved one."
"Sending you all heartfelt thoughts from Nick's hometown Hamilton. Nick's light shines so bright still," a third fan commented, and a fourth told the fitness instructor that she was not naive to believe she would see her husband again.
"Sending every ounce of love and support to you and beautiful little Elvis," a fifth supporter claimed, while others shared similar stories of loss with the talk show host.
Kloots and Cordero's romance began in 2014, shortly after they met on the set of "Bullets Over Broadway" — the late 41-year-old played the role of Cheech — a gangster and aspiring auteur — while the former part of the dancers' ensemble.
Their budding romance was heightened by their after-walk conversations with the "Waitress" actor proposing years later during one of their excursions to the Hudson Valley. The dancer marked the anniversary of the milestone with a unique manicure, which she shared with her followers via her Instagram Story, The Blast reported.
Per the article, the thriving dancer opted for minimalist nude nails, adding a blue amulet eye design on her ring finger. The text accompanying the picture, "Did a little tribute manicure," was written.
The choice for the nail design was birthed by the "Live Your Life" co-author's unpreparedness when her man popped the question six years ago. At the time, her manicure featured nude nails with noticeable eyeballs drawn at the bottom of each finger.
Despite that less-than-satisfactory look, the couple happily posed for a photo after the 41-year-old said "yes" to the love of her life.

Earlier this year, The Blast observed that the "Dancing with the Stars" contestant shared an intimate clip of her dancing to one of her late husband's songs, "Oye Como Va." Kloots stunned in a red and white combo consisting of a crop top and half-flared bottoms as she vacationed in Mexico.
The mother-of-one stopped her errant blond hair from interrupting her flow with a ponytail styling as she swayed to the beats with fellow dancer and actor Hugo Lopez, who donned an oversized white shirt, matching three-quarter bottoms, and green and white sneakers.
The Ohio native confirmed her love for the song when a fan commented, "Love your dance AND the song!" She replied, "One of my favs from his album." Several others also complimented Kloots on her skills with this fan writing:
"I love everything about this including your darling outfit! I wish you would give us a quick lesson on how to shoulder shimmy! I cannot seem to isolate my upper body!!"
