The woman accused of stalking Kris Jenner and hacking into Kourtney Kardashian's emails has been released from federal prison.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Christina Bankston was released from custody on March 29.

Prosecutors had requested the judge dismiss the indictment and release Bankston from custody immediately. They dismissed the charges without prejudice, meaning they could refile charges in the future.

The judge signed off on the request the next day.

Back in 2017, Bankston was arrested on 15 counts in relation to hacking Jenner's social media accounts, emails and sending her threatening texts.

Bankston was released from custody but then re-arrested months later for violating the terms of her release in January 2018, and she has remained in custody since.

She was set to go to trial last year but a court ordered Bankston to undergo a mental competency test. The outcome of the examination was never revealed.

Prosecutors alleged Bankston harassed Kris Jenner and other Kardashians between March and September 2014. She also allegedly hacked into Apple's servers to obtain iCloud information for Kris and obtained the username, password and security answers and used it to hack into Kourtney Kardashian's AOL account.

Bankston is accused of also impersonating Caitlyn Jenner and stealing text messages between Kris and Caitlyn.

Bankston allegedly hacked into Kris' Instagram account and posted disparaging remarks, including negative comments about "blacks." Prosecutors claimed Bankston even called into the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department in 2014, where she falsely told them about a suicide attempt at Kris' home.

Law enforcement responded to her home but discovered it was a false alarm.

The news comes just days after Kendall Jenner's alleged stalker was arrested again, this time by ICE agents in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
