Kelly Osbourne is giving fans a surprising glimpse at her life as a mother months after welcoming her first and only child Sidney with Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson.
The 38-year-old icon may be enjoying every bit of motherhood, but it does not come without its downsides which she did not hesitate to share with her followers on social media.
Kelly Osbourne's Typical Mum Life Involves Getting Soiled And Styling Her Son
On Tuesday, March 28, Kelly gave the world a dose of her "mum life" with a candid picture on her Insta Story, much to the delight of her fans. She could be partly seen in the image wearing a black shirt and jewelry around her neck, with her lavender-colored hair framing her face.
Her day was not looking so cheery as her shirt's sleeve was covered in baby puke, which she also mentioned in a text overlay, adding how tired she felt. "Tired and covered in baby puke," she wrote. However, in a more recent Story post shared the following day, the "Project Runway Junior" host was in a good mood to dress her baby up in style.
"#StylingSidney Today my little man is wearing…" she wrote on the update alongside a flat lay picture of the infant's outfit of the day. Kelly paired a Marks and Spencer yellow raincoat featuring white raindrop patterns with a blue and white ensemble comprising crocheted blue pants, and a matching striped jacket from "@mayoralmakingfriends."
A white star-designed shirt was added to the mix with a cap from "@loulouandcompany" while the doting mother finished the look with baby blue socks and white mini boots from "@doctormartenstore." As fans are aware, ever since Kelly and her partner welcomed their son in secret, she rarely shows him off in photos, but whenever she does, social media is always abuzz with excitement.
One such occasion was earlier this month when she uploaded a snap of herself, her baby boy, and her brother, Jack Osbourne, on Instagram enjoying a family moment. The doting mom of the hour struck a comical pose beside Jack, who was all grins while pointing to his nephew.
In addition, only baby Sidney's head was unsurprisingly visible in the photo, as Kelly has not shared any full shot of his face. Using an Irene Banks quote, Kelly expressed in the caption, "An uncle is a blessing. It means so many things. Words could never tell the joy an uncle brings. An uncle is a bond of faith that even time can't sever, a gift to last all of our lives. An uncle is forever."
Many fans were overjoyed to see the trio as they rushed to the comments to express so. A follower gushed, "They both have come a long way from the show they used to do. They look good." Another fan penned, "I absolutely love seeing you and Jack and how wonderful and grown up you both are. You two are more amazing than you ever knew."
A third commenter called the siblings "funny" while admitting they were dying to see Sidney's face even though his "little precious head is so adorable." Similarly, a fourth admirer mentioned that they could not blame the former "Fashion Police" presenter for obscuring her son's face. Nevertheless, they congratulated her and called Sidney "a handsome little guy."
The 'DWTS' Alum Found It Hard To Return To Work Months After Son's Birth
Several months after giving birth to Sidney, Kelly had to return to work for the first time in late February and could not stomach it as she missed her baby every day. She lamented her situation on Instagram using a candid message that revealed she took on her first job post-pregnancy while proclaiming her respect for working moms.
"Having to leave him this morning was one of the hardest things I have ever done. This day can’t go by quick enough for me. I can’t want to have him back in my arms," she confessed.
A few encouraging mothers shared similar experiences in the comments, including one who admitted that she cried on her first day back at work. The same commenter told Kelly that her situation would get better, after which she congratulated her on Sidney's birth.
Despite the heartache, haters came for the actress as several believed she had never worked a hard day in her life and could not relate to working mothers.
