Toddler On TikTok Goes Viral For His 'Old Soul' Personality!

Semaj knows how to make hearts melt! The sweet 2-year-old has a personality that shines through in his mom's TikTok videos.

The viral fun all began when Semaj told his mom, Azha Prather, that she is beautiful because she brought him some fruit snacks. And so the viral TikTok journey began...

At just 2, Semaj has quite the vocabulary and seems to really enjoy being in front of the camera. The first video to go viral was back in August when the adorable toddler sincerely told his mom that she's "so beautiful."

"You're so beautiful. All week. You came here," he said in the video that received more than 11 million views and 48,000 comments. "You're beautiful."

One follower wanted to know, "Where you get this little man from?" and Prather replied, "I been trying to figure this one out lol."

Another follower pointed out he's an old soul, "He's been here before, sis! He's an ancestor come to sort things out." One person added, "That's a grown man," and another added, "who uncle is this...omgeeee...I could listen to him all day...so frkn cute."

Prather told PEOPLE that this video happened as she was just recording him one night before bed. "It started with that video when he was telling me that I'm so beautiful. I wasn't looking for it to blow up like it did. I was just recording him one night, he had just got in bed," she said.

"And he was like, 'Mommy, I want some fruit snacks,' so I came back downstairs, got him fruit snacks, then got back in bed, and he's like, 'What's up beautiful?' All that because of fruit snacks. So it started from there."

In another viral video, Prather catches Semaj doing something most parents would be shocked to witness - the 2-year-old happily doing dishes.

"What are you doing?," Prather asked her son, to which he nonchalantly replies, "Washing dishes."

He then asked why she's taking a photo of him and she said she's not and changes the subject. "You making a mess. You got water everywhere," she said.

His next comment was his old soul shining through, "You got shoes on though." Without missing a beat, she asks what that means, and he sternly tells her to go clean up the mess.

The video received more than 34 million views, 5.5 million likes and 136,000 comments.

"You heard him. Go over there and clean it up," one follower jokingly wrote. Another added, "Ain't no way this baby talking like this?!!! Omg...He just stole my heart."

One follower noticed something about the sweet toddler's name. "Is his name Semaj as in James in reverse?" and Prather replied, "Yes, his dad name is James!"

When Prather brought Semaj home from the hospital after he was born, her grandmother said something that probably makes more sense now after seeing his full personality.

"My grandmother, whom he calls Ma, really told me, when we came home from the hospital. I walked in and she was looking kind of strange. So I asked her, 'Ma, why are you looking like that?,'" she told PEOPLE. "And she said, 'That's gonna be a strange baby.' I kind of took offense to that, like, 'What do you mean by that?' She said, 'You're gonna see,' and from there, it just started moving fast."

In a recent video, Prather records her little boy enjoying a Wendy's meal in the car - a chicken sandwich with cheese and pickles combo with a Sprite, just what he asked for.

One follower hilariously asked, "Does it feel weird knowing your son is older than you?" Prather responded with laugh emojis and "very! LOL."

Prather told PEOPLE that she tries to always have the camera on him because you never know what he'll say next. "I never know what he's going to do," she said. "It's just his lifestyle, just Maj being Maj."

She said she never expected her videos to blow up the way they have. "I know it's kind of hard to believe, but it's genuinely who he is," she said. "Sometimes I look at him and I'll be like, 'What did I - where did you come from? Who are you?'"
