Legendary Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is recovering after undergoing a heart valve replacement surgery in New York City.

Jagger will need a few days to recover from the transcatheter aortic valve replacement, says Billboard, and doctors will monitor him for complications. The procedure is described as "minimally invasive" and allows him to avoid a major surgery.

The Rolling Stones were supposed to go on tour beginning this month but will now most likely start in July. The new concert dates have yet to be announced.

The band announced last week they were postponing the tour, saying, "Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment."

The statement did not go into detail about Jagger's condition, except to say that "doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible."

Fans were not too worried about Jagger as he was seen the next day relaxing at a hotel in Miami with the rest of the bad.
