The third time might be the charm for Lana Del Rey!
The singer, who has been engaged twice before, is allegedly giving it another go with Evan Winiker, a former member of the independent rock band Steel Train. The engagement news comes as a shock to fans due to the rumored couple's relatively low profile and Del Rey getting romantically linked to music producer Jack Donoghue last year.
Lana Del Rey Is Ready To Walk Down The Aisle…Again!
Fans have been falling over themselves since the news of Del Rey — real name Elizabeth Woolridge Grant —and Winiker's rumored engagement hit the internet. While there are no details about the progression of their relationship, the pair have been captured basking in each other's company over the last few months.
For starters, they were seen having fun at the Malibu Chili Cook-Off festival in September 2022 and then again at Pappy and Harriet's restaurant in Pioneertown, California, where they posed for photos with fans, earlier this month.
Per Billboard, the couple is no stranger to each other's careers, as Winiker's relationship with record producer Jack Antonoff has resulted in the "Cinnamon Girl" singer getting the best deal on some of her projects. In fact, Antonoff most recently collaborated with Del Rey on her new studio album, "Did You Know There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd."
Besides proving to his fiancée that heaven is a place on earth, the dog owner is a managing partner at Range Media, a company founded in 2020 that caters to clients like MAX, Daya, Skyler Stonestreet, Walk Off the Earth, and Disco Biscuits. His impressive résumé also includes a stint with Full Stop Management, where he worked for four years.
By his achievements, it is clear that Del Rey has something for wildly ambitious men, with her most recent man, Donoghue, and his Salem bandmate John Holland releasing one of the decade's most significant projects with their debut studio album, "King Night."
The former couple launched their romance on social media with a pair of since-deleted snaps captured outside Chicago's Cook County Jail. Initially shared on Donoghue's page, the post was captioned "Family visit."
As for her previous engagements, PEOPLE reported that the "Summertime Sadness" singer's most recent near-altar experience was with musician Clayton Johnson. The pair's relationship began shortly after they met on a dating app, subsequently following each other's Instagram account in August 2020.
Onlookers would later see a diamond on the 37-year-old's ring finger in a photo of the twosome donning matching Wizard of Oz costumes for that year's Halloween. The "Diet Mountain Dew" hitmaker re-emerged with the ring during a December performance on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" in December.
Even though sources told the outlet that Del Rey and Johnson were engaged, it was not until February 2021 that the latter made their relationship Instagram official. Unfortunately, they were not destined for the altar as they eventually ended their romance at an undisclosed period.
The Fordham University alum was first engaged to Scottish singer Barrie-James O'Neill, whom she began dating in 2011. Besides getting spotted together in public locations, the former couple had a knack for writing songs together.
The Kassidy band member and his then-girlfriend made their red carpet-debut at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards. They sparked speculations about an upcoming wedding when the Brit Awards winner appeared with an engagement ring in early 2013.
However, by 2014, the duo had broken up, with Del Rey confirming, "We are currently not together. He is a wonderful person. But there are some things he has to deal with."
The singer's romantic past also features Italian photographer Francesco Carrozzini from 2014 to 2015, a steamy 2017 fling with rapper G-Eazy, and a whirlwind romance with real-life cop Sean 'Sticks' Larkin from 2019 to 2020.
The Echo Award Winner Wows Fans With Innovative Album Artwork Idea
In December 2022, The Blast observed that Del Rey unveiled some details about her latest studio album to her fans via her private Instagram account. The "Ride" hitmaker shared that listeners would have the opportunity to either choose their favorite album art or mix and match its artwork.
To that end, the project would feature four album covers with matching photo sets and album inserts and a list of collaborators on each one. The Danish Music Awards winner got her fans going when she released the first song from the project via streaming platforms and her personal YouTube channel.
The titular single immediately got people's attention, with one YouTube user gushing, "this is such a masterpiece and like therapy. Also so meaningful. She is a poet," in the comments.
"Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd" was released on March 24 by Interscope and Polydor Records.
