Luke Perry‘s son made his return to the wrestling ring and thanked his fans for their support following the loss of his beloved father.
Jack Perry, who wrestles under the name Jungle Boy, shared a video of highlights of him in the ring. He captioned the vid, “I’m not sure I’ll ever be ready, but I’m back. Thanks for all the love and support.”
In the video, Jungle Boy looked somber as he entered the ring as the crowd chanted his name. Before the match began, he looked up and blew a kiss to the sky, seemingly to his dad.
Two days after Luke Perry passed away, Jack pulled himself out of a scheduled wrestling match.
Later that day, he shared his thoughts on social media, writing, ” He was a lot of things to a lot of people. To me, he was always Dad. He loved and supported me in everything, and inspired me to be the best that I could possibly be.”
He continued, “I’ve learned so much from you, and my heart is broken thinking about everything you won’t be here for. I’ll miss you every day that I walk this earth. I’ll do whatever I can to carry on your legacy and make you proud. I love you Dad.”
