Sara Gilbert is done talking, at least on daytime television.
The 44-year-old actress announced Tuesday on “The Talk” that she will be leaving as a co-host at the end of the current season.
“My life was slightly out of balance,” Gilbert explained through tears, and said she wasn’t able to spend the time she wanted with her three children.
As for what she plans on doing, Gilbert says she has some more projects to work on and opportunities to act. The rest of the co-hosts seemed to be taken the news hard, but Gilbert assured them she would still be involved in the show, as she is an executive producer.
Gilbert has been a co-host on “The Talk” since the show premiered back in 2010.
