Chanel West Coast has laughed for the final time on the red couch. The MTV hit show "Ridiculousness" co-host just announced that she's leaving the show after 30 seasons.
But have no fear...she's not leaving tv altogether. The new mom has signed a deal with Paramount Media Networks to executive produce, create and star in her own unscripted series. She will also be busy developing scripted and unscripted projects under MTV Entertainment Studios.
Chanel West Coast Is Leaving "Ridiculousness" After A 12 Year Run
Chanel, 34, whose real name is Chelsea Chanel Dudley, explained her next big steps in a statement to Variety.
"After years of being a part of the 'Ridiculousness' family, I'm sad to say goodbye to the show but very excited to announce my next big venture with MTVE/Paramount. It's time for me to step off the red couch and step into the role of executive producer," she said.
"My passion has always been to create, whether it is music, clothing, or film and tv. I plan to bring some of my wildest ideas and dreams to life through amazing film & television projects, build my teams, and work with other creatives paving the way on the screen. I'm also very excited for the world to see me beyond 'the laugh' and for once, see the real me."
Chanel, who welcomed her first child, daughter Bowie Breeze with boyfriend Dom Fenison in November, has spent 12 years on the "Ridiculousness" red couch laughing alongside co-host Sterling "Steelo" Brim and creator Rob Dyrdek.
She met Dyrdek back in 2008 and appeared in 38 episodes of Dyrdek's show, "Fantasy Factory" between 2009 and 2015. She's been part of "Ridiculousness" since its 2011 premiere. She's also spent much of her time recording music, and other tv shows such as "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" and releasing a clothing line.
Chanel announced her big news on her Instagram page, and many followers left supportive comments for the TV personality. "I'm SO excited for this next chapter!," she began her caption. "To the fans who are sad I will no longer be on Ridiculousness, don't worry...I have my own docu-series tv show coming out soon!"
Her caption continued to explain her upcoming projects briefly and to thank all her fans for their continued support.

Another follower wrote about the relationship between Dyrdek, Brim and Chanel, "Those three had pretty tremendous chemistry."
Chanel West Coast Started A New Chapter As A Mom In November
Chanel welcomed her first child on November 2 and shared her birth story on Instagram.
"I ended up needing to have a c section to deliver her and it was so scary but it was also the best day of my life," she said in an Instagram caption.
"I'm so happy my baby girl came out healthy and happy. She is truly the chillest baby ever and I feel so blessed. I have never felt more love in my heart. She is my whole world now and I feel so complete with her and her daddy by my side."
After welcoming her daughter, Chanel told US Weekly that Bowie Breeze is "healthy and happy as can be." "She is perfect in every way to me and her daddy and we are so grateful to have her in our lives," she said.
