Jason Sudeikis Is Trying To ‘Litigate’ Olivia Wilde ‘Into Debt’

According to Daily Mail, Wilde is upset with Sudeikis for continuously filing suits to move the custody battle of their kids, which has prolonged the case. The actor pushed for the custody battle to be moved to New York but has been turned down twice by the court.
The first occurred in August 2022, and the other on Thursday, nullifying the appeal he filed after the initial loss.
Before the decision, Sudeikis had also filed a “Request for Order” to stay a “California Parentage” ruling that says the children should live in California, where the Wilde resides.
The protracted custody battle hasn’t gone down well with Wilde, as she feels the “We’re the Millers” actor is trying to “litigate her into debt.”
“While Jason can afford to spin his wheels with filing after filing, Olivia cannot,” her lawyers filed in court papers obtained by Daily Mail. “Jason seems intent on throwing whatever he can against the wall to see what will stick.”
She Is ‘Aware He Is Far Wealthier’

It is unclear whether Sudeikis will file another lawsuit soon after his most recent loss to Wilde, per TMZ.
In the meantime, Wilde’s attorneys have pointed out that it is unfair that the comedian has been costing the actress hefty legal fees yet claims “she should be deprived of her right to seek a needs-based fee contribution from him.”
It was also mentioned that the “Lazarus Effect” star is “aware that [Sudeikis] is far wealthier than she is” and seemingly feels frustrated that his financial strength will allow him to prolong the custody battle over where their kids should live.
She thinks the children should remain in California as they have no deep attachment to New York, which is Sudeikis’ base.
To support her claim, the actress said that Daisy never received any education in the Big Apple, while Otis only had just a semester of kindergarten there.
Olivia Wilde Claims Jason Sudeikis Acted In ‘Bad Faith’

Apart from feeling upset with paying more legal fees, Wilde believes her ex has acted in “bad faith” concerning his legal tactics.
“We were scheduled to start working with a family therapist in California in mid-January. I thought things were calming down and were going to move forward in a more amicable, respectful fashion,” she said.
“Instead, I learned on January 10, 2023, that the entire time I was negotiating the parenting schedule in California, [Jason] was plotting to proceed with the New York Child Support proceeding behind my back.”
The actress stated that she could not attend the first appearance on January 4, 2023, because he did not notify her or her lawyers. She also indicated that she is “completely perplexed” by his “trickery,” which she believes is not in their children’s best interests.
The Estranged Couple Has Dated Other People

Since they split in 2020, Wilde and Sudeikis have tried finding love in other people’s arms. The “Ted Lasso” star dated actress Keely Hazell, who played Bex in his popular AppleTV+ comedy series. They were first linked in February 2021 and were seen getting intimate on an afternoon stroll in NYC a few months later.
However, a source told E! News in July 2021 that the duo was “no longer romantic. “Jason and Keeley were never in a serious relationship, “the source added. “It was definitely never a serious thing,”
Meanwhile, Wilde began dating singer Harry Styles in January 2021 after meeting him on the set of her film “Don’t Worry Darling.” Their relationship hit the rocks in November 2022.
