Justin Roiland Is ‘Deeply Shaken’

The writer shared his feelings on social media after having the domestic violence case against him thrown out. “justice,” he captioned a screenshot of his lengthy take on the incident at hand.

“I have always known that these claims were false,” he opened the statement. “I never had any doubt that this day would come. I'm thankful that this case has been dismissed but, at the same time, I'm still deeply shaken by the horrible lies that were reported about me during this process.”

Roiland’s statement addressed how quickly friends and colleagues were to turn on him without any proof.

“Most of all, I'm disappointed that so many people were so quick to judge without knowing the facts, based solely on the word of an embittered ex trying to bypass due process and have me "canceled.”

Roiland was promptly let go from his jobs at Adult Swim and Hulu which houses Rick and Morty and Solar Opposites on the latter. At the time of the charges, Roiland’s lawyer spoke with the Daily Mail regarding his client.

“It is hard to overstate how inaccurate the recent media coverage of this situation has been,” said Edward Welbourn. “To be clear, not only is Justin innocent but we also have every expectation that this matter is on course to be dismissed once the District Attorney's office has completed its methodical review of the evidence”

The attorney said, “We look forward to clearing Justin's name and helping him move forward as swiftly as possible.”

It looks like Roiland may be on a mission to get his jobs back or at least back on the show he created, Rick and Morty. “Now that the legal case has ended, I'm determined to move forward and focus both on my creative projects and restoring my good name,” he summarizes his statement.

Besides the statement, Roiland has been relatively quiet on social media since the accusations and his fight for “justice”. Thankfully for Roiland, maybe some things can begin to get back to normal for him and his career!
