In a recent Instagram Story update, the Billboard Women in Music honoree subtly warned fans to stop spreading negative news about parenthood. The chart-topper reposted a message by the renowned leadership coach Harris Fanaroff, where the consultant addressed the same problem.

The marketing guru explained that he was tired of hearing about the bad side of parenthood. The cons mentioned included "You'll never sleep again," "Your travel life is over," and "Say goodbye to your weekends."

Fanaroff noted that he was expecting his first baby with his partner in the next three weeks and was "excited, nervous, anxious, and grateful" to be a dad. The soon-to-be parent's jitters may have been caused by hearing about the consequences of having children instead of the benefits.

The pregnant songstress shared similar sentiments in a note above the post, writing: "This. So over people sharing often (mostly often) only trauma and not the joy. Both can exist. It truly can ruin it for new time parents."

Jessie's warning came days after the Redbridge native celebrated Mother's Day as an expecting parent. The "Price Tag" artist marked the event with an emotional post, paying tribute to her unborn child and the baby she lost in the miscarriage.

Taking to Instagram, Jessie shared a three-slide post, with the first being a picture of the entertainer's ultrasound. In the snap, the songwriter's son was captured with a sweet smile. The second image was a shot of a wall with the words: "I love you, and I want to be the best version of me for you," written in black paint.

The final slide featured a video of the powerhouse vocalist in a sheer black jumpsuit, singling and cradling her baby bump at a show. "You. Thank you for coming to me," the ASCAP Award winner began her heartfelt caption. "Thank you for trusting me that my body can keep you safe. Thank you for gifting me with the most special experience already so far, and with the most important role I will ever play in my entire life."

"I love you so hard it blows my mind; this is real," Jessie continued. "I'm yours forever, my son. I cannot wait to meet you. And see this smile in real life." The English songwriter then went on to gush about the father of her unborn child, NBA star Chanan Safir Colman.

"I love your Daddy so much. You wouldn't be on your way without him. He is the most patient, calm, and good-looking man. You are going to LOVE him when you meet him," the soon-to-be mom penned.

Concluding her beautiful caption, the "Domino" artist reminisced about her miscarriage. "I feel so emotional as every Mother's Day before this one has been so different," she confessed. "I know the pain so many people are feeling today, and I am holding you in my heart."
