Lori Loughlin & Husband Demand Government Turn Over All Evidence in College Bribery Case

Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are demanding prosecutors show their cards before their criminal cases move forward, and want things put on pause until they see all the evidence against them.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Lori and Mossimo are asking the judge to suspend all motions by the government in the case until the scheduled hearing on June 3.

They explain, along with several other defendants, "At present, the Defendants have not yet received any discovery in this case and have been told by the government that it is extremely voluminous."

Lori and Mossimo state they "would like an opportunity to review discovery in a meaningful way before the filing of substantive motions in this case. Litigating substantive motions in a piecemeal fashion and before Defendants have an opportunity to become familiar with the government’s evidence could substantially prejudice the Defendants’ ability to make proper legal arguments to contest the allegations."

A hearing is scheduled for June 3 and Lori and Mossimo – along with several other defendants – are asking the court to wait on making substantial moves until then.

As we first reported, Loughlin and Mossimo both entered not guilty pleas after being hit with a second superseding indictment that charged them with conspiring to launder bribes and other payments.
