...And then there are two!
Zach Shallcross' season of "The Bachelor" is winding down, but the 'drama-o-meter' has ramped up in the last few weeks.
The 26-year-old 'Bachelor' has been adamant in his attempts to squash drama, but on Monday night's episode, the drama escalated to rollercoaster levels!
Shallcross' history with the franchise's fantasy suite week has been quite rocky: He and 'Bachelorette' Rachel Recchia had difficulty communicating during their opportunity to get spicy, and on his own 'Bachelor' season, he decided to nip any possibility of generating hot, hot heat in the fantasy suites.

Shallcross would soon break his rule during his tryst with Gabi Elnicki.
The duo's romp in the sheets followed Shallcross' fantasy suite date with Ariel Frenkel. Frenkel and Shallcross's relationship was fun and easy, with Shallcross frequently mentioning the effortless nature of their relationship.
The guilt Shallcross would then experience for breaking his promise would consume him and impact his night with Kaity Biggar. Relations between the final three women and Shallcross were seemingly cold during the ensuing rose ceremony, where Frenkel was eliminated.
Before we get into Bachelor Nation's whirlwind reactions, let's look closely at Shallcross's decision not to get frisky during his fantasy suite week.
Inside Shallcross' Decision To Keep Fantasy Suite Week Rated PG-13
We previously took a look at Shallcross' decision to focus on 'late night talking' during fantasy suite week.
From last week's promo for the fantasy suite episode, Bachelor Nation was given a notion that Shallcross may walk back on his decision. He gave a bit of insight to Us Weekly about his decision during the "Women Tell All" taping.
"From what I can say is- a lot of things do change and going into that week, I thought I could set it up, like, a guidance for myself and a guideline for others to try and make it less messy and it bit us in the a**," Shallcross told the publication.
Bachelor Nation's central face Jesse Palmer also weighed in on the Bachelor's decision.
"Zach put up some parameters around fantasy suites that he thinks will help him make his decision at the end of the day," Palmer said. "So Zach decides that he is not going to sleep with any of the three women, that he's going to focus on other means and ways of progressing his relationships, but things don't exactly go that way."

"Things" indeed did not go "that way."
The women vying for Shallcross' heart all had their reactions to his confession- he had decided to inform Elnicki he was going to fess up to their romp to the other women- with Frenkel's reaction not shown on camera.
Frenkel's face remained neutral during her elimination at the rose ceremony, but Bachelor Nation's reactions were anything but!
In an Instagram reel (also posted on TikTok) of the duo's NYC hometowns date posted by Frenkel, fans showered Frenkel with their thoughts!
"ARIEL HOW I WISH YOU WERE THE 'BACHELORETTE' NOW!! YOU ARE SO CLASSY SO SEXY SO INTELLIGENT!!," a passionate fan commented on the reel. "WOW!! I HOPE THEY MAKE TWO SEASONS SO YOU CAN BE NEXT!! I would pay top dollar for that!!"
"In my opinion, I think you deserve to find someone incredible," a member of Bachelor Nation commented. "You're hilarious, mysterious, and intriguing. You're also super pretty. You deserve to find someone who will see all the good in you, choose you and only you. Good luck in your future endeavors."
"My favorite contestant to ever be on the show," a fan commented. "You are way too good for him. Your family was spot on! When your brother said, why should she choose you?! Epic! Wish you were the next bachelorette but perhaps we'll see you in paradise."
Another Bachelor Nation fan shared their different wishes to Frenkel.
"I honestly hope not to see you on Bachelor In Paradise," they wrote. "only because you are of such a higher caliber than what the show can offer. You're leagues above this show and men like Zach. Hope you find your perfect match soon [heart emoji] One of my geace [sic] this show"
"He lost a baddie tn frfr," another fan chimed in.
"Fumble of the century," a fan remarked.
"I felt so seen during your part of the hometown episode coming from an eastern european Jewish family. After the cow tongue, it's only a matter of time before Zach is devouring drankini and pelmeni," another fan told Frenkel.
"Love seeing someone on the show who is proud of their Jewish identity!! ['okay' and a heart emoji]"
On last week's "Women Tell All" episode, Charity Lawson was announced as the next 'Bachelorette!'
