Olympian Bode Miller is taking a big step to prevent the tragedies of the past and getting his son swimming lessons.
“I cried tears of hope watching my baby boy learn this life saving skill,” Miller’s wife, Morgan Beck shared on social media. She added, “…and then tears of sadness because it was all I had to do to keep my baby girl here.”
As we reported, the Miller’s 19-month-old daughter, Emmy, died last year after falling into a neighbor’s pool during a party. Emergency workers raced to the home but were unable to resuscitate the child.
The couple’s son, Easton, was born months later in October.
