'Summer House' Gabby Prescod 'Hurt' To See Her Co-Stars Trash Talking Her

Summer House newbie Gabby Prescod is a little hurt that her co-stars have been talking trash about her on camera.

The fashion designer saw her co-stars Ciara Miller and Mya Allen talking a little bit of a mess about her on last week’s episode of the Bravo reality TV show. And like the rest of the world that watched, she was stunned.

Prescod sat down with Page Six to unpack the “surface level” label her co-stars gave her and reveal why she presents herself the way she does.

“f I say I went to an all-girls school, it’s not like, ‘Oh, I am privileged in the fact I went to that high school’. It’s like, ‘No, I’m trying to explain to you like how I’ve navigated female relationships my entire life’,” she explains, kind of.

The explanation comes after the two other females of color in the house were confused about Prescod as a whole and felt she was very inauthentic in how she presented herself,

The awkward scene occurred while Miller and Allen were helping the newbie set up for her Studio 54 party at their shared summer rental. “I just feel like overall, I haven’t cracked the Gabby code yet,” says Allen to Miller.

Miller responds that “a lot of things with her are a little surface-level.” They both agreed, "She just seems very privileged which is totally fine, but it’s just like, you’re missing out on the authenticity of it all.”

However, the women did exude a sense of regret or even having to have this conversation about another woman of color on a predominantly white show. They assumed or hoped she must “have shared experiences being black women.”

Prescod shared her reaction to the moment on Page Six. “I found out with everyone else in the world that that was said about me, so that was a great feeling,” she revealed. “I don’t think that anyone finding out that people are talking about them is a great feeling, but then having that be on TV too, it’s just tough.”

the 32-year-old also revealed that she hadn’t had a conversation with the girls about the on-TV jab and is a little perplexed that they didn’t tell her about the conversation before it aired. However, she revealed that her relationship with Miller is like her personality, “surface level.” She confessed; they don’t have “that level of relationship.”

“Out of everyone in the house, Ciara and I are probably not the closest, and she is the person that I think that we’ve had the most distance from each other,” she continued noting that she doesn’t “speak that frequently” to Miller.

As for Allen, she revealed that Allen and herself are on better terms; they recently grabbed dinner together in the city. Prescod didn’t reveal if she will be returning to the summer share next year, but if she does, she can confront the traveling nurse face to face!
