In 2018, "Charlie's Angel" alum Cameron Diaz retired from Hollywood, that is, until actor and friend Jamie Foxx brought her out of her retirement to star in the Netflix action comedy "Back in Action" – an apt title for Diaz's comeback.

However, a source close to the actress revealed that she might not return to Hollywood for another film. She has struggled to overcome the long work days that keep her away from her rocker husband, Benji Madden, and their three-year-old daughter, Raddix. "These back-to-back 10-hour workdays have been a lot on her, and she hates being away from Raddix," the source told Daily Mail. They added, "Cameron loves being a mom more than anything in the world."

Since walking away from Hollywood eight years ago, Diaz has been in domestic bliss with her rocker husband, Madden. In December 2019, the couple welcomed their daughter, Raddix, and have kept their home life private as they raise their three-year-old.

Madden greatly supports Diaz and her decision to return to the silver screen. "Benji is supportive of everything that Cameron does, but it has been a lot on him," a source revealed, per Daily Mail. "Although she has gotten to see her family while shooting the film, it is just not the same."

Things got heated on the London set of "Back in Action" as Foxx allegedly had a massive meltdown that culminated in firing one of the show's executive producers, two directors, and his driver. However, despite Diaz's current discomfort with being back on the acting scene, a source for Daily Mail claims that Foxx's tantrum would cause no friction in their relationship.

"When you are in a position of authority, sometimes you have to make decisions to let people go who do not share the same vision as you," the insider said. They continued, "Cameron is a businessperson and understands that this is necessary at times, and, honestly, Jamie is the only reason she is doing this film, and they are still very close."

More than an actress, Diaz is also a wise businesswoman as she created her wine brand, Avaline, along with her business partner Katherine Powers amid the pandemic in 2020.

Avaline was a significant turning point for the "Charlie's Angels" actress - and has helped her discover a new creative outlet since her exit from Hollywood. "Cameron has gotten extremely involved in Avaline and was pivotal in its creation," a source shared, per Daily Mail. They added, "Avaline has grown exponentially, and it is something that Cameron is very proud of."
