Ryan Phillippe's Ex-Girlfriend Wins Battle Over LAPD Records Involving Actor

Ryan Phillippe's ex-girlfriend scored a victory over police reports involving the actor, with a judge allowing LAPD to turn over the information she is after.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a judge has ordered Elsie Hewitt will be allowed access to any documents from cases of domestic violence from the past.

Phillippe and Hewitt have been battling over her sending subpoenas to LAPD, demanding they turn over all records relating to any restraining orders, police reports or claims of domestic violence made against Phillippe in the past.

Hewitt specifically was interested in any accusations of domestic violence made by Phillippe's ex-fiancée, Paulina Slagter. Phillippe argued she had no right to the records and accused his exes of colluding together.

The judge ruled the Los Angeles Police Department is to hand over a list of all complaints or reports made in the last ten years against Phillippe for domestic violence, along with the nature of the act complained about or reported, and the status of the report.

The order states the LAPD is not to list any names of alleged victims or complainants. If the police find a case the judge will allow Hewitt to send a new subpoena for documents relating to any incident found. The LAPD will then have to notify any alleged victims about the possible release before handing it over to Hewitt.

As The Blast first reported, Elsie Hewitt sued the actor for $1 million accusing him of assaulting her at his Los Angeles home. She claimed after an argument with the actor, she went to his house to get her belongings.

Once she arrived, she claimed Phillippe was extremely agitated, grabbed her upper arm “so tightly that his grip left heavy bruises on her arm” and then “braced his body and violently threw her down his staircase as hard as he could.”

The lawsuit alleged the actor abused drugs like “cocaine, ecstasy, psychedelic mushrooms, and steroids.”

Ryan Phillippe denied all allegations of assault and accused his ex-girlfriend of trying to extort him with false allegations. He claimed to have only treated her with “kindness and respect” during their relationship and never physically harmed her.

The case is ongoing.
