Jessie J Emotionally Marks 'Different' Mother's Day As Soon-To-Be Mom

Pregnant Jessie J is over the moon as she celebrated Mother’s Day in anticipation of her baby.

The “Price Tag” singer, who had previously spoken about her fertility struggles, announced her pregnancy in January. The news came a year after suffering a sad miscarriage.  As this is her first Mother’s Day celebration with a child, the soon-to-be mom penned a heartfelt message celebrating the occasion. 

In celebration of the special day, the “Flashlight” singer shared pictures that captured adorable moments of her motherhood journey. The first image was a scan of Jessie’s unborn son, with a little smile on his face.

Following this was a picture with the words, “I love you and want to be the best version of me for you.”Jessie included a clip of herself singing at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London. In the footage, the songwriter donned a sheer black jumpsuit which displayed her growing bump.

Jessie sweetly caressed her bulge while she sang the song. Alongside the photos, the “Domino” singer penned an emotional message celebrating the special day. She wrote,

“Thank you for coming to me. Thank you for trusting me that my body can keep you safe. Thank you for gifting me with the most special experience already so far and with the most important role I will ever play in my entire life.”

Jessie continued with a declaration of love for her unborn son. “I love you so hard it blows my mind this is real. I’m yours forever my son. I cannot wait to meet you. And see this smile in real life. ”

She further spread the love to her baby daddy Chanan Safir Colman and gushed about him. “I love your Daddy so much, you wouldn’t be on your way without him. ☁️ He is the most patient, calm and good looking man. You are going to LOVE him when you meet him.”

In the concluding parts of the caption, the singer recalled her sad miscarriage, noting that this Mother’s Day was emotional for her. She penned, “I feel so emotional as every Mother’s Day before this one has been so different. I know the pain so many people are feeling today and I am holding you in my heart.”

Soon after the expectant mom made the post, fans serenaded her with love. A fan commented, “Happy Mother’s Day! You deserve it so so much, while another fan remarked, “You’re going to be the best mom ever!!!” Actress Lashana Lynch added, “Your son has chosen a good one.” One other admirer claimed the singer’s unborn son already had her nose. 

Last month, the “Bang Bang” singer shared the news of her baby’s gender beautifully. As reported, the British singer revealed her baby’s gender with a lovely new song. In the video shared, she appeared to be preparing for the Brits Award while she sang to her baby.

The singer wore a white bathrobe that covered her bosom but left her bump and thighs exposed. She cradled her exposed bump as she sweetly sang the lyrics to her song. “I feel this way; something’s changed…” Halfway into singing, Jessie muttered “Hi” to her moving baby. 

In the video’s caption, Jessie disclosed her baby’s gender. She wrote, “Since I wrote this song, every time I play it or sing it he moves like crazy… so I think this song is the one. Oh yeah, I’m having a boy.” At the end of the caption, Jessie poked fun at her almost-naked appearance in the video. 

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old award-winning singer announced a break from singing after her outstanding performance at her O2 concert. Per The Blast, the singer passed her message using an AI recording. 

The message in the video reads, “I am on voice rest. I sang twenty songs last night like an $@#%&*$ [censored word], and now my voice is fried. Good Talk.” 

From Jessie's videos, her performance at the show blew minds away! Rocking a stunning outfit, the singer displayed her singing abilities to an excited crowd. Recall that Jessie had previously noted how excited she was for the show. She also stated that her little bun was excited about the show too.
