Julia Fox has finally addressed her younger brother's arrest! The entertainer, infamously known as Kanye "Ye" West's ex-girlfriend, recently made headlines for her family's drama.
Authorities arrested the TV personality's loved ones on weapons and drug charges. The offenders were the "Uncut Gems" star's father, Thomas Fox, and his son Christopher Fox. Days after the shocking police raid on March 8, the 33-year-old broke her silence.
Julia Fox Discusses Her Brother's Arrest For The First Time In Emotional Video
After reports of the Milan native's family troubles made rounds across media outlets, the eccentric model stayed mute about the matter. However, the mother-of-one was forced to discuss the situation, given the different narratives floating around.
In a recent TikTok post, the "Symptomatic of a Relationship Gone Sour" author addressed the situation after a curious fan asked if her family truly made bombs in their apartment.
Fox, who currently rocks red hair, filmed hers in her luxurious bathroom wearing a white t-shirt with a bodybuilder print. Barefaced but still beautiful, the 33-year-old revealed her father had no part in the alleged weapon and drug production crimes.
The blue-eyed goddess explained that Thomas was released on the night of the arrest after authorities determined he had no involvement or knowledge about the incident. Regarding the bomb-making headlines, the "PVT Chat" star hinted that the situation might have been blown out of proportion by the media.
"Also, like the media did sensationalize it a bit like he definitely was not making bombs," the actress claimed before adding a quick disclaimer, "I mean I don't know, whatever. Actually, I don't know, but I can only imagine because I know my brother."
Coming to the 30-year-old's defense, the model lauded Christopher with praises. "I've always known him to be like — I'm not kidding, you guys — the sweetest, most gentle, kind, soft-spoken, loves animals, loves to plant flowers, has a green thumb, loves nature."
Despite describing him as a nice person, the Milan native confessed that she and her brother had battled their fair share of demons. "But I will say that my brother and I have a lot of trauma," Fox admitted. "The difference is that I'm scrappy, I'm a fighter, and I threw my aggression and was able to release that rage."
Unlike his older sister, Christopher could not sort out his negative feelings and "internalized" them. Despite his arrest, the "PTSD" author noted that the situation had a "silver lining" for her troubled sibling.
"He is finally going to get the help that I've been trying to get him for so long," the 33-year-old revealed. "I wish I could say more, but I don't want to damage his case or anything like that, but I will say that I'm just embarrassed."
Per The Blast, Thomas and Christopher were arrested in the early hours of March 8 following an NYPD operation. Using a search warrant, police officers barged into their Upper East Side apartment, where they discovered incriminating items.
Cops found several fragments of ghost guns, untraceable firearms commonly sold on the internet in small parts to be assembled at home. Aside from the weapons, there was evidence of narcotic manufacturing.
The apartment housed tools for pressing narcotic pills, pressure cookers, and chemicals to produce the addictive substance. Additionally, authorities recovered materials used in making explosives.
The Gotham Award Nominee Went The Extra Mile To Help Her Younger Brother
Following Christopher's arrest, the "No Sudden Move" actress turned on her big sister mode to save her brother from the slammer. Given his gun possession and drug manufacturing charges, the offender's bail fee was not cheap.
However, the Milan beauty teamed up with her parents to foot the $450,000 bond required to release her younger brother from captivity in Rikers Island. The model's touching gesture was a surprise, given her previous statements about her family.
The actress previously confessed that she was not close to her relatives, rarely spending time with her father and brother. Despite the lack of closeness between the siblings, sources claimed the 33-year-old secured his bond payment with her "assets."
During his appearance in court, assistant district attorney Cyril Heron revealed that Christopher had bought "at least 190 ghost gun items" for $7,600. However, the weapons recovered from his apartment did not match the purchase history, meaning the 30-year-old had probably manufactured and sold the guns.
