'Silver Spoons' Star Rick Schroeder Arrested for Felony Domestic Violence

Child TV star Rick Schroeder is currently behind bars after allegedly getting into a physical altercation with his girlfriend.

According to the L.A. County Sheriffs Department, deputies responded to Schroeder's home in Topanga Wednesday morning at around 12:43 AM.

We're told when deputies arrived, they made contact with Schroeder and his girlfriend, and identified evidence of a physical altercation.

Schroeder's girlfriend refused medical treatment, but the 49-year-old star was arrested for felony domestic violence. He was booked at the Malibu Lost Hills Station and is being held on $50,000 bail.

According to officials, a similar incident occurred between Schroeder and his girlfriend on April 2, and he was arrested and also held on a $50,000 bond.

He posted bail and was released the following day.

Schroeder became famous for his role of Ricky Stratton in the 80s sitcom, "Silver Spoons." He later went on to star in "Lonesome Dove" and "NYPD Blue." His last movie appearance was in the 2010 Jonah Hill comedy, "Get Him to the Greek."
