"Is starving wellness?" That's a question many have after viewing a TikTok video of a podcast interview where Gwyneth Paltrow talks about her "wellness routine."

During an episode of "The Art of Being Well" podcast, Paltrow raised many concerns about what she considers to be a healthy routine, and TikTokers didn't hold back their thoughts.

During the podcast interview, Paltrow is asked what her wellness routine looks like currently.

"I eat dinner early in the evening. I do a nice intermittent fast. I usually eat something about 12, and in the morning I'll have some things that won't spike my blood sugar," she said. "So I have coffee. But I really like soup for lunch. I have bone broth for lunch a lot of the days."

She then said she does one hour of movement by either taking a walk or doing some Pilates. "And then I get in the sauna. I dry brush and I get in the sauna," she said. "So I do my infrared sauna for 30 minutes."

For dinner, Paltrow explained that she sticks to a paleo diet with lots of vegetables.

After talking about dinner, she said something that really confused a lot of viewers (as if they weren't already confused.) "It's really important for me to support my detox."

Many took to the comments to ask what exactly she's detoxing from if she's only eating bone broth and vegetables each day. But that wasn't the only topic people wanted to discuss in the comments of the TikTok clip. See the video clip HERE.

The comment section was filled with questions and concerns.

It appears that many people were thinking the same way based on comments and the amount of likes they were getting. One of the most popular comments with more than 49,000 likes says, "Almond mom final boss."

(For those who aren't exactly sure of what an "almond mom" is, it's a mother who projects her unhealthy eating habits onto her children.) Another popular comment with nearly 54,000 likes also refers to being an almond mom, "The mother of all almond moms."

Other popular questions are, "Is starving wellness?" "Is this why she looks so aged?" and "What’s she detoxing??? The bone broth???"

One person pointed out, "One hour of movement on bone broth and coffee." And another said, "This is 90s children's trauma in a nutshell, no pun."

In addition to the comments on the video clip, many people created their own videos and stitches to discuss why this is so unhealthy, not only for Paltrow but also for vulnerable people listening to her and thinking this is healthy in any way.

Abbey Sharp, a dietician who has an active TikTok page, created a video explaining why the information Paltrow is spewing is unhealthy in so many ways.

"I did not think Gwyneth could get any more dangerous to the public, but then she posted this," she said before showing some of the TikTok clip of Paltrow's podcast interview. "So many trigger warnings for what I'm about to say here folks. What I'm hearing is that she eats nothing for breakfast, just black coffee until noon. Then has bone broth for lunch, which clocks in at a measly 40 calories per cup."

Sharp then continues by bringing up the hour-long exercise session and 30 minutes of sweating in a sauna that she claims to do on just coffee and bone broth in her system. "And then has some vegetables for dinner to support her detox. So many red flags in such a short 30-second interview."

Sharp then explained that "paleo is bull***t." "Nobody needs to be eating like their ancestors," she said. "There's a reason why their life span was a fraction of ours today."

One of Sharp's followers dropped into the comment section to ask a question that's probably on many people's minds. "I’m confused about exactly what she’s 'detoxing' from if she only eats 'clean' to begin with? Make it make sense."

Other TikTokers Also Shared Their Thoughts In Video Discussing Gwyneth Paltrow's Podcast

Another TikToker who goes by American ReSister also had some things to add about Paltrow's interview, so she shared a video of her thoughts and advice.

"Look at this woman. This woman is five years older than me," she begins her video. "Look at my skin. Do you know why? It's because I have fat in my body. She spends all this money to look young and she looks like a shriveled-up banana."

The TikToker went on to say Paltrow's way of living is not healthy and she needs to "eat food." Pretty much all of her followers totally agreed with her stance.

"This is the best anti-dieting ad I've ever seen," one follower wrote. Another added, "Bestie how are you 45? How???? Glowing I swear."

One of the big worries of Paltrow sharing her "wellness routine" with the public is that some will take her advice and develop an eating disorder. One follower commented on that point exactly saying, "I am unfortunately conscious of the fact that I'm slowly developing an eating disorder so thank you for making this."

Another follower also commented about that topic as well. "Thank you for making this video. I can not go back to my restricting days. Never again."
