Netflix Reality Star Carly Lawrence Reveals Burglars Stole Her Handbags, A Signed Kobe Bryant Jersey, And More

In her candid Instagram video, the Netflix reality star describes the details that led to the robbery and explained why it’s important to hide your location online, especially if you’re an influencer.

“Okay, guys, let’s talk about my robbery,” Carly says as she begins the video. “So pretty much, I was at an event, and I came home, and all my stuff was scattered on the floor. Like everything you can think of was flipped on the floor, every drawer had been pulled. All of my handbags were taken, a signed Kobe Bryant jersey was taken, ownership papers from cars, my whole jewelry box, Xboxes... Honestly, anything you can think of, it was taken.”

“So the creepiest thing is I think they were either like stalking my Instagram or they were just stalking the house – both are obviously creepy – because people are always usually home at the house, I lived with three other people, and someone was always home and it was like, two hours that no one was there,” she explained.

“Luckily, my dog was at my friend’s for the night so she was safe and when I woke up the next morning, that’s all I could think about,” Carly continued. “I don’t care about my stuff. I could give a cr*p if things were taken. I just woke up and I felt guilt thinking like, ‘What if Luna was there?’ like they probably would have taken her. Who knows?”

“The detective said they probably would have pepper sprayed her. And, so, like, that’s all I cared about,” Carly went on. “So, right away, I moved, I got a place within a week, and I am out of there. Guys. Friendly reminder: Please stop posting where you are online. Please stop posting where you’re living. People are watching. It is so creepy but they are. They are always watching.”

She gave a shoutout to Roadway who got her moved into a new place within a week. Although she won’t show her followers where she is living now, she did share footage of the moving process, which showed Carly posing in front of the Roadway truck that was parked in front of the street.

In the caption, Carly wrote, “Story time of my robbery! Huge shoutout to @roadwaymoving for saving the day and getting me moved so quickly #roadwaymoving #movewithroadway.”

Fans were understandably worried for Carly, but they also had a lot of questions. Even though the Canadian model didn't find love on "Too Hot To Handle," she tied the knot with "Love Island" reality star Bennett Sipes last year.

Although the pair haven't been shy about posing PDA on Instagram, many fans did question why the couple wasn't living together after they had already tied the knot.

“Where is hubby?” one fan asked. “Aren’t you married and live with your husband?” another follower asked. “Where was your husband?” a third fan chimed in. “I’m thinking she and Bennett are splitsville,” another follower speculated.

It's hard to tell if the couple called it quits. Although the post showing the two posing in matching Halloween costumes has been taken down, other photos that show the two together are still up.

Fans hoping that Carly and Bennett still together do have a glimmer of hope, however. Last month, a few days after Valentine’s Day, he took to Instagram to say that he and Carly have been together for over a year, calling it “the best times of my life.”

He called her "the most beautiful, hardworking & caring person I know," adding, "She has the biggest heart and the greatest personality. She’s my best friend. Pushes me to be the best version of myself. I cherish every day and every memory with you."
