Lindsay Lohan's Parents Are 'Over The Moon' About Incoming Grandchild

Lindsay Lohan’s parents are thrilled that another grandbaby is entering the mix. Dina Lohan can’t stop gushing about it!

The mom of four kids herself Dina is excited that her new title has been grandmother and the more grand babies the better. Seeing as Lindsay shared the exciting news with the world Dina is free to express how she is feeling. "I'm literally over the moon. I'm so happy, I can't stop smiling," revealed Dina.

"It's incredible. We're just so excited. It's just such a beautiful thing for my child! And I love babies. Who doesn't?" it was not lost on Dina that this grandchild has a new meaning, this is her first child’s first child. Not that her other grandchildren don’t matter but this one hits differently.

"My oldest baby is having a baby,” she said to PEOPLE excitedly. "It's so crazy. I'm in disbelief a little bit sometimes because you're like, 'Well... it makes you older clearly!'"

Dina already has a granddaughter, Isabel Scarlet. Her second child, son Michael Lohan Jr. and his wife Nina Ginsberg welcomed the child in 2021. Dina shared that Lindsay will be a natural mom.

"Lindsay has always loved kids because I love kids and my mother loves kids; I'm one of four," she says of herself and her siblings. "We have a big family, so she's always wanted, children. And she's so maternal. Isabel, her niece just runs to her when she sees her."

Dina also revealed that Lindsay has been trying for a baby and the timing is “perfect” for her and her husband Bader Shammas. "She's been trying and then it happened, that little stick came up positive," Dina recalled the moment.

She also had great things to say about her son-in-law. "It's the right time for her and Bader is an angel. Her husband is so sweet and they're just so happy. They're just really happy and ready." She also shared that "He's so happy."

Dina gave an update on where Lindsay is in her pregnancy but not that crucial date we all want or the sex of the baby. "The nursery's all white, so that gives you nothing," joked Dina. As for the due date, "I cannot tell, I will be in trouble!" she says.

Lindsay has her mom on speed dial for advice about every little thing. "She's like, 'Mommy, what does this mean? I feel like this. What is this?' " Dina says. "We do that every day, every morning. 'How are you feeling?' " Dubai isn’t keeping this excited grandma out of the mix.

Dina loves the dynamic her children have as adults and they all shared their love and excitement for their big sister in a group chat.

"They text every day, like 10 times a day," Dina says of the group. "It's so funny. Two of them will be talking and then someone else will be talking. And I'm the mom, so I try not to get involved in whatever's happening."

We are just as excited for Lindsay’s mommy era.
