Meryl Streep's Daughter, Grace Gummer, And Mark Ronson Welcome First Child

American actress Grace Gummer has welcomed her first child with her husband, music producer Mark Ronson.

Gummer and Ronson got hitched in a low-key wedding in August 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic at the time. The actress made it known in October last year that she and the DJ were expecting their first child together.

Before getting married to Gummer, Ronson spoke of his desire to become a father, noting he'd rather come home every evening to his loved ones than continue trying to be "Peter Pan."

The "American Horror Story" alum has welcomed her first baby with "Uptown Funk" producer Mark Ronson.

Gummer, 36, and Ronson, 47, were reportedly seen out for a stroll in New York City recently with their infant strapped to Ronson's chest.

The music mogul was dressed in bright red pants and a long, brown jacket, while Gummer wore a dark brown coat, black pants, white sneakers, and a head warmer.

"Mark and Grace looked to be quite exhausted as most new parents are, but they managed to take a long walk in New York on what was a beautiful sunny day," a source said, per Page Six.

The source added, "They were very protective, checking in on the baby every few seconds. Mark wrapped the infant under his jacket for warmth and looked every bit the smitten father."

Gummer and Ronson dated for a year before getting hitched in August 2021. Three months before their wedding, the Grammy-winning DJ proposed to the actress in an intimate setting.

Ronson took to Instagram at the time to share the news of their marriage. He shared a black-and-white image of the couple holding hands while wearing a suit and gown.

"To my truest love … out of nowhere, you made 45 hands down the greatest year of my life," he captioned the picture.

"And I'm sure it took me 45 years to become the man worthy of your love. I hope I spend every one of these birthdays by your side til my last day. And beyond. Forever and ever yours (and yes, we got married)," he added.

At the time, Ronson and Gummer reportedly trimmed the list of guests to the minimum in a bid to act in line with COVID-19 protocols.

Gummer and Ronson's marriage isn't the first the pair have partaken in. According to Page Six, the "Rehab" collaborator was formerly married to French actress Joséphine de La Baume from 2011 to 2018 and was in a previous marriage with actress Rashida Jones from 2003 to 2004.

Gummer, on her part, was married to musician Tay Strathairn for 42 days in 2019.

The "Mr. Robot" actress filed for "dissolution of marriage" with the musician, although the cause of their split was not known.

According to TMZ, Gummer and Strathairn met for the first time in 1993 as kids when their parents starred in the movie, "The River Wild," where her mom, Meryl Streep, and his dad, David Strathairn, acted as husband and wife.

The couple was recently seen with pop star Dua Lipa at a New York Knicks game, according to the Daily Mail.

Gummer kept the look casual by sporting down-do hair, going makeup-free, and donning cuffed jeans and an oversized black blazer. Her patent leather boots finished off the look.

Her husband, Ronson, wore an off-white pair of Adidas sneakers to complete his look, which included a New York Knicks jersey, a white long-sleeve top underneath, and brown corduroy pants.

For her part, the "New Rules" hitmaker, 27, rocked a black suede jacket with a black miniskirt and a pair of black knee-high boots with a red bag.
