Brittany Mahomes Recalls 'Best Week Of My Life' In 1st Anniversary Tribute To Patrick

Love is in the air for the power couple Patrick & Brittany Mahomes as they recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary.

Their relationship has lingered for an impressive time since the media first spotlighted it in March 2012. Now, they have become proud parents of two beautiful children. The high school sweethearts announced their engagement in September 2020 and married on March 12, 2022, in Maui, Hawaii, surrounded by their friends and family in a romantic and intimate affair.

In honor of their first anniversary, Brittany recently shared a beautiful tribute on Instagram to her devoted spouse, expressing her satisfaction with their "forever" union. In one of her posts on Instagram stories, the two walked across a lawn with Brittany's long veil trailing along. Behind them, the guest's chairs were set up beautifully. 

Another picture saw the doting parents kissing while their daughter, Sterling, looked on. Tagging her man, the loving wife wrote, "Our last kiss as finacé's." A repost on her husband's account showed how the duo spent their special day. Fans could see a written anniversary note on a ceramic plate beside a small piece of cake.

"Happy 1st Anniversary ? ?," the Kansas City Current co-owner began her idolizing message, adding, "One of the best weeks of my life, marrying your best friend it's one of the greatest things you could do! ??.”

She also noted that nothing could be compared to the family life they had built with their "beautiful kiddos," which is indeed a gift and an accomplishment for the lovers, who have had a "wild one year." Brittany then concluded the short but sweet message with, "You & Me forever ♾️."

Hundreds reacted to the post and wished the twosome a happy anniversary. One person wrote, "Your little family is the sweetest. Love all our posts ❤️." Another penned, "Aloha vibes for life ❤️??."

A third fan noted, "❤️ I'm rooting for you guys! I hope you both continue to lean into each other and your bond when the world and being in the public eve tries to break you down. ❤️.” A fourth user commented, "One down and 4ever to go ? congratulations!"

At the time of the celebrity couple's special day, The Blast noted the pair jointly shared the details of their special wedding ceremony. For the glamorous occasion, the groom wore a grey tux with a matching grey tie and black patterned dress shoes, while the bride wore a typical stunning white wedding dress with a long flowing veil.

The event took place at a beach with palm trees scattered around. There were also tons of white flowers adorning the venue. The newlyweds looked extremely happy as they posed together in all the photos, with one including a trio photo with their baby daughter, who Matthews carried. They captioned the post, "Mr. & Mrs. Mahomes."

A few days after their marriage, the 27-year-old shared details of her fairytale honeymoon. As reported by The Blast, the lovebirds stood on a rocky slope with a remarkable view overlooking them. They sported black sneakers, shorts, shades, and a fanny pack.  

In another picture, the two hiked up a mountain and shared a display of the island's magnificent scenery. Also, they hung out at a natural pool; the loving wife donned an orange bikini top with black shorts while spreading out her arms. 

In one of the snaps of their time in the love bubble, Brittany tagged her husband and wrote, "It was quite beautiful." Overall, the island had terrific views and pretty cool spots where the duo ate. They also watched a sailboat race and had some fun in the water.

Somewhere in that carousel of pictures, the fitness expert posed on what looked like a match and donned a cute white bikini with a matching bucket hat. She later watched the glowing sunset and the calm waves with the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.

Before rounding out their vacation, they had a kayaking adventure where they saw numerous turtles. The pleased wife shared a back view of herself in a blue bikini, soaking up the perfect view from their villa. 

According to Brittany, the honeymoon ended with no hiccups. She wrote, "was such a perfect honeymoon!" accompanied by two pink sparkling heart emojis. Also, she tagged the athlete on the post.
