Meghan King is no novice when it comes to being involved with men with questionable attitudes, given her three marriages, including once to the former baseball player Jim Edmonds.
However, the reality star is not above making fun of herself. King unexpectedly acknowledged her taste in the wrong men using an amusing video indicating that men with "red flags" may be her thing.
Meghan King Says She Must Go Look For Her Man While Filming Red Flags
The Bravo star, who was once married three times to Brad McDill, Edmonds, and Cuffe Biden Owens, recently poked fun at her love for men with "red flags."
In a funny Instagram Story video done on a beach, she began by filming a red flag hung below a U.S. flag on a white pole before zooming in on another set in the distance. King gave fans more beach views, including the sun lounges close to the water and the tall buildings nearby.
"Look at all these red flags on the beaches," she said. "They're everywhere. So naturally, I must go look for my man because that's my sign. That's what I like in men, apparently, red flags."
Although she did not show her face in the clip, viewers could see her manicured nails, painted red, matching the flags.
Ever since the reality star finally divorced her husband of five years, Edmond, life has not been so good to her, and she lamented about it last month, three years after the divorce.
Taking to her Instagram Story, which The Blast reported, she dropped a clip of herself with no makeup on and looking frustrated with her hair packed roughly. King was pretty emotional in the video as she was filmed wiping away tears and saying, "Nobody really talks about coercive control and the after-effects of divorce."
"People say, 'It'll get better in time. It'll get better with time. It's been three years," she moaned. "When? What time do I have to wait for?" She noted that her lawyers and parental coordinator assured her that everything would get better eventually, but nothing of the sort has happened as things only worsened.
Following the emotional clip, she told fans in another video about her decision to get rid of the negative energy by purging her closet and glamming up.
"So if I'm upset," she shared, "which I am, I'm having a rough day. I tell myself, 'Meg, you gotta pull it together. So what you gonna do?' So I did something symbolic, which is purging." The TV personality added that she had done her hair and makeup, which she pointed out was needed to "release the bad energy and start over."
The candid update may be warranted given that her ex accused her of keeping their three kids away from him shortly before. Edmonds initially implied that he had visitation problems with the 38-year-old using a quote on his Insta Story that read:
"Sad when your ex tells the kids you don't want to see them when you're busy then doesn't let you see them when you're out of town. Unknown…”
His rep later revealed to Page Six that King hired a nanny to care for their children when she was away on her Gaia Wellness retreat instead of letting the former athlete look after them.
Per the spokesperson, "Jim thinks it's really sad the kids are being left with a nanny instead of their father, who changed his Super Bowl plans so he could be with them. "Hopefully, Meghan enjoys her narcissism retreat."
The 'RHOC' Alum Speaks On Tom Sandoval's Cheating Scandal Involving Raquel Leviss
As a Bravo star, King was connected to the scandal involving "Vanderpump Rules" star Tom Sandoval who was unfaithful to his partner of ten years, Ariana Madix.
The mother-of-three voiced her thoughts about the "cowardly" fling, saying Sandoval should have kept his commitment to Madix rather than throwing it in the trash by having a seven-month-long affair.
She then mentioned that since the ex-couple were public figures, it would be hard on Madix as she had to deal with the scandal in the spotlight. King did not fail to name the female whom Sandoval got involved with — Raquel Leviss — and called her "thirsty" for acting on her attraction to the actor.
While the University of Mississippi alum lashed out at Sandoval, she also criticized her ex-husband, Edmonds, whom she credited for making her know "a thing or two about a public infidelity scandal."
