Howard Stern is joining the massive #FreeBritney movement after seeing the new documentary which investigated the pop star's long-running conservatorship.

The King Of All Media made the announcement on his Sirius/XM radio show, where he discussed the topic with co-host Robin Quivers. During the show, Howard explained he had been 'convinced' by the #FreeBritney fans after watching the documentary with his wife, Beth Stern.

Stern made a few compelling arguments, including Britney Spears being treated this way because she is a woman, and pointed out several male celebrities (who had issues) that were never confronted with a conservatorship.

"Its the most bizarre thing ever, it was f---ing crazy," Howard described watching 'Framing Britney Spears.'

While discussing the topic, Howard brought up the recent issues with Kanye West, including his own admission that he is suffering from extreme mental illness. "I was thinking, this guy Kanye West, he has been acting a little strange," Howard said.

Adding, "No one has appointed a conservator over his finances."

As you know, Kanye was involuntarily hospitalized for eight days after suffering from a psychotic break.

"I think I'm FreeBritney now, I think I'm full on Free Britney," Stern told his audience.

To be fair, Howard admitted it's possible Britney isn't fully capable of running all of her finances and other parts of her life -- but pointed out several similar male celebrity examples where there was never any court intervention.

"Charlie Sheen," Howard said. The legendary radio host went on to describe several of the 'Major League' star's issues. "Shia Labeouf," he added, and "Gary Busey."

"No one took over his finances," Stern explained. Why...you ask?

"Because he's a man," Howard said.

The King Of All Media even brought up one of the most famous moments in bizarre celebrity behavior history, saying, "Ozzy bit the head off of a bat in a business meeting, he's in charge of his own finances."

"The whole thing is really f---ed up," Howard concluded.

"I thinking of adopting Britney Spears, and I'll free her," he joked.

The stunning revelation came on the heels of Britney's cousin, Alli Sims, speaking out about how Spears' father once threatened her life.

As we reported, during a recent interview, Sims -- who worked as her assistant in 2008 -- claimed that her contact with Britney was abruptly cut off after Jamie Spears filed a conservatorship. At the time, Ali claimed Mr. Spears said something would happen to her if she did not cut off communication.

"He 100 percent was threatening me with my life. I didn’t put it past him, so I didn’t answer her calls ever again," she said.
