Jordyn Woods has reflected on a time when life was simpler.

Although it has been three years since the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic, nobody, including celebrities, can forget how life was before it. Woods used her social media to recall some sweet memories she experienced and places she visited just before the announcement in March 2020.

With over 676 million cases and 6.8 million confirmed deaths, COVID-19 is considered one of the deadliest diseases in history. The occurrence brought an increased use of nose masks, social distancing, restricted access to many countries, and an ultimate lockdown.

These preventive measures limited Woods' ability to enjoy other people's cultures, birthing a special appreciation for the places she visited pre-2020. Recalling one such memory, the socialite took to her Instagram Story to post content — two photos and a video — from her time in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

In her first update, the 25-year-old posed for a mirror selfie wearing a white two-piece outfit with some designs, a tan Fedora hat, and a brown pouch bag. The wide-brimmed hat covered her dark box braids, highlighting her perfectly drawn eyebrows and subtle makeup.

Behind the "Life of Kylie" alum was a large bathtub, a body of water, and clear, blue skies. For her next update, Woods donned an all-black outfit, including a scarf and a dark long-sleeved jalamia, which she paired with red earrings and a matching bag.

For glam, the model opted for a red lip, highlighter, and full flash lashes, as she posed in front of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The prestigious mosque returned in the third Story in a clip that encapsulated the stunning view from one end to the other.

The "Triumphant" singer added another picture, wearing the earrings from her sightseeing tour to the fleet as she explained to her followers, "I may have to end my trip early and come home because this virus is getting out of hand."

Below that, the "Hip Hop Squares" star added, "Days before the lockdown started ?." Across all four Instagram Stories, "The Masked Singer" contestant wrote, "Memories. March 12, 2020," referencing the exact time she was on the trip.

Although her return to the United States was uneventful, Woods' life soon took an unexpected turn when her boyfriend Karl-Anthony Towns, lost eight family members — including his mother, Jacqueline Cruz — to the deadly virus.

At the time of the incident, the pro basketball player had used his appearance on Facebook Watch's "Peace of Mind with Taraji" to address the deaths while appreciating his girlfriend for holding his hand during the grieving process.

Reflecting on how his romance with Woods blossomed, the then-25-year-old revealed, "It's crazy because we were best friends. I feel like, in a way, when my mom passed, she said, 'I'm not going to leave you alone. I'm a make sure you know who you're supposed to be with.'"

The 2014 Gatorade National Player of the Year recalled that he and the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" guest star bonded over the fact that the latter had also experienced parental loss — her father, John died of cancer in January 2017.

Besides helping him deal with his loss, Towns admitted that his girlfriend had also helped him "embrace his softer side," as he realized during their relationship that "the male ego is the most sensitive and most dangerous thing the world has to offer."

The Blast reported last week that Woods and Towns' romance has been growing stronger since they made it social media official in 2020. The model showcased how far they went to prove their love for each other in a video she shared on TikTok.

In the clip, the "Grown-ish" guest actress sported full facial glam and wore a gray sweatshirt and a pink beanie. She kicked off the footage by telling viewers that even though she had enjoyed a "really good week" with her man who was in town, he had planned to "send something" to her house after he left.

The "something" turned out to be a luxurious black Lamborghini, whose sleek interior the "Trigger" actress excitedly showed to her followers and fans. Amid the recording, Woods asked her sister, Jodie, "Shortie, what's it giving?"
