Heather Rae El Moussa is finally getting her groove back!

The Reality TV star gave birth to her first child, Tristan, who she shares with her husband, Tarek El Moussa, in January this year. She has been documenting her unfiltered experience as a new mother on social media, where she shares the highs and lows of motherhood with her fans. In a recent update, she showed off a startling but significant change in herself since welcoming her newborn.

Things are going a lot smoother for the new mama as she was finally able to step out for some much-needed self-care. She went to the salon to get her tresses in order and sure looked great afterward.

In the first picture she posted, the former model sat in the car's front seat sporting visibly lush long blonde locks which lay over her shoulder on her oversized white shirt. She wore large black sunglasses, and the filter she used cast a soft glow on her fresh makeup-free face. She wrote across the image:

"Got out of the house & got my hair done 😊👏🏼," and then tagged where she got it done, "@l33hairartistry." 

The following slide showed her standing in front of her full-length mirror in her vast walk-in wardrobe, showing off her outfit, which consisted of an oversized white shirt over black pants. She paired it with white sneakers, looking energized and refreshed. Her caption accurately expressed how important it was for her:

"This was a big day for me. I put leggings on for the first time in a very long time. Lol." Heather explained why she had a white blanket on her beige-colored carpet, saying, "I use my closet as a changing area for late-night diaper changes. Anyone else do this?" 

In a previous post, the mother-of-one shared her excitement as her baby boy reached his first-month milestone. The Blast reported that she also shared her plans for balancing motherhood and her thriving career.

The pictures showed the doting mother looking directly at the camera while holding her wide-eyed son in her arms. While in the second image, Heather smothered her baby with a loving kiss on his temple while he gazed at her with his big, bright eyes.

In the caption, she partly wrote, "Last day of February and it's been a month of love, mamahood adjustments, work days from home, breastfeeding ups & downs, the best newborn snuggles, sleepless nights & lots and lots of family time."

The actress shared that while February was a good month for her family, she was excitedly looking forward to March. She mentioned that their new show, "Flipping El Moussas," would premiere on March 2nd and was a significant event for her and her family. However, the 35-year-old also admitted that she was more focused on balancing motherhood and her career in the meantime.

The famous real estate agent shared her struggles with sciatica during pregnancy to the birth of her "miracle baby," documenting every step of the way on social media. The Blast reported that the "Selling Sunset" star got candid about the challenges of early motherhood via the picture she posted on her page. 

The snap showed Heather in a gray bathrobe over a black top, with her hair pulled back and her makeup-free face looking tired as she leaned her head on her hand. In the caption, she expressed her feelings by writing, "I'm as tired as I look. Sleep with a newborn isn't sleep… it's checking them every few minutes, every noise, every movement…."

Before this, she had also spoken about another issue that was distressing to her. Heather revealed that she had been struggling with early breastfeeding complications, which left her feeling defeated.

She disclosed that her baby boy had several health issues that were caught early on, making it difficult for him to latch on and feed, resulting in significant weight loss. She recommended getting a specialist for situations like this and also making sure to care for one's nutrition and what they put into their bodies.
