Larsa Pippen is reportedly in talks to return to "The Real Housewives of Miami" for the series' supposedly upcoming fourth season.
Although there's been no official word from Bravo or NBCUniversal, the network's parent company, in regard to the alleged reboot of the former series, a source told Entertainment Tonighton February 12 that Pippen has been contacted and offered a role on the potential new episodes.
Pippen "has been offered a role on The Real Housewives of Miami and is considering it," the insider said.
Larsa Pippen Appeared On Just One Season Of 'RHOM'
As the outlet explained, Pippen was one of the original cast members of the Bravo reality show when it began airing in February 2011. At the time, she was joined by Cristy Rice, Marysol Patton, Alexia Echevarria, Adriana de Moura, and Lea Black.
Although Pippen appeared to be a great personality on the show, and certainly had the luxurious lifestyle that viewers of the "Real Housewives" love to see, she did not return to the show for its second season. Instead, she stepped away as four new cast members were added to the series in 2012.
Larsa Pippen Was A Guest Star On 'KUWKT' For Years
As Pippen went on to appear alongside Kim Kardashian and her sisters on episodes of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and a number of the E! Network series' spinoffs, Lisa Hochstein, Joanna Krupa, Ana Quincoces, and Karent Sierra, were added to "The Real Housewives of Miami" for season two.
While the series continued to air until season three, it was not renewed beyond its third season, which featured the wedding of Joanna and her now-ex-husband, Romain Zago.
But that could soon change.
Andy Cohen Is On Board With A 'RHOM' Reboot
After Andy Cohen, the creator of the "Real Housewives" franchise, said in November 20202 that he would love to reboot "The Real Housewives of Miami" on Peacock, NBCUniversal's new streaming service, an insider told Entertainment Tonight that the show "is coming back and Bravo is already in the full swing of interviewing potential cast mates to hire."
“I have really been trying to get Peacock to pick up Miami,” Cohen said during an episode of the "Everything Iconic" podcast. “I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this. I don’t know where we are with that."
'RHOM' Season Three Saw Low Ratings
"I have to say the fans of Miami are still very vocal, and so I’ve been an advocate for Peacock bringing back Miami,” Cohen admitted.
"The problem with the third season was that the ratings were declining as it went on and they went down for the reunion, which is usually the opposite of what happens," he continued. "I think that went into the decision to not pick it up.”
No word yet on a potential premiere date for "The Real Housewives of Miami" season four.
