Gymnast Aly Raisman's Massive Cucumber Gets Doggy-Style Treatment

Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman's massive weekend cucumber just got the cutest delivery guy. The 26-year-old former athlete, whose four-legged friend Mylo is a regular on her Instagram, just updated with her signature green thumb, but somebody else was doing the honors. The 2012 "Fierce Five" and 2016 "Final Five" captain, now fiercely guarded by blue-eyed dog Mylo since acquiring him last year, made her weekend update all about the pooch, complete with a reminder that green and home-grown is always best. It comes as Aly continues to make headlines for the pet graced with a doggy play-date with MCU actor Chris Evans in November 2020 – Mylo ain't your regular dog, seeming to have celebrity play dates. Aly, who listed fruit and vegetable seeds in her NY Mag "must have" list, was showing her 2.1 million followers that she puts her money where her mouth is. Likewise, that Mylo's mouth comes in handy for schlepping stuff around.

Aly's Saturday photo showed her adorable dog outdoors, on a sunny deck, and seeming to have caught himself a low-calorie snack. The simple snapshot, seeing Mylo with a giant home-grown cucumber caught between his jaws, came with Raisman calling him her "Gardening buddy!"
"Can't wait to start growing food outside," the Aerie partner wrote, adding appropriate cucumber and plant emoji for a total 6,000 likes in under 45 minutes. Fellow gymnast MyKayla Skinner even left a like. See the photo below!

Aly, who battles anxiety and seeks peace in both her Pialtes practices and gardening, has opened up on all things green. "I love gardening," she told NY Mag in January 2020, adding:
"It’s something I’m very passionate about and it’s very fun and relaxing for me. I enjoy watching these seeds grow — it teaches patience and it’s cool to feel connected to nature."

Aly, who will on occasion update in a bikini and made headlines this year with her bubblegum-pink swimsuit for a hot tub workout, keeps it chill on IG, with posts often reaching out to help others. Ahead of the weekend, the gymnast hosted an Instagram Live to promote the benefits of Pilates, an exercise she credits for having helped her get back on her feet after barely being able to walk as depression hit after the 2016 Olympics.
