Gina Carano FIRED From Star Wars, Claims Political Discrimination Is The Reason

Gina Carano, most well known recently for her time playing Cara Dune in Dinsey’s hit live-action Star Wars series “The Mandalorian”, is apparently on the chopping block after Lucasfilm announced that she would not return for the third season of the show. The reason for this shocking development? She posted an analogy that makes mention of Jews and Nazi’s.

To be more specific, her post (now deleted) on Twitter was used as a way to make a point about how the media has steadily become a tool to badmouth people of different opinions… and apparently, the cancel culture she was criticizing has struck back harder than the Empire in Star Wars Episode 5.

The news has become so controversial in fact that DailyWire covered how it all started in a lengthy post. The article quoted the entire message from her original Twitter post, listing it as following:

“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors … even by children.

“Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?” 

Carano’s firing was devastating to long time fans of her character in the Star Wars universe, but thankfully it looks like she has been given another way to continue her acting career, as a producer!

Indeed, The Daily Wire is actually teaming up with her so that she can create her own film. 

The outlet shared that they are thrilled to work with her and are disgusted to see how Disney (which they label as part of the “authoritarian Hollywood left”) has treated her after using an analogy to describe a very real problem running rampant today.

The outlet also made it a point of noting that Disney and Lucasfilm were fully in wrong for what they did in promoting “cancel culture” and for discriminating against someone for their political views:

Ben Shapiro (from the Ben Shapiro show) shared how he believes Carano was wronged and that the culture of canceling people for different opinions needs to stop and that it should not be misunderstood as anything but a mistreatment of people’s rights and livelihoods. 

“Social movements have consequences, and we are now in the middle of a mass social movement to expel half of the American population from the body politic,” Shapiro said. 

“It is not about an honest attempt to cleanse the culture. It is not about an honest attempt to have discussion or conversation,” he said. “It is about, can we wrong-foot you so that we have an excuse to say that your entire career has been completely and utterly garbage and that you are a bad person, and so we feel good about excising you from the body politic. That’s all that is happening right now in the culture, and that is a big deal.”
