'RHOSLC' Jen Shah On Status With Co-Stars, Reunion Look

Jen Shah and her cast mates may have endured a number of dramatic moments during the "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" reunion but according to Shah, she is still on speaking terms with the majority of them.

During an interview with Page Six on February 10, Shah said that for the most part, her relationships with the other women on the show are in good places.

“My relationship with everyone, for the most part, is good," she shared. "I’ve talked to quite a few of the ladies after reunion."

"They call, text. So, yeah. I think people will be very surprised, though. There was some doozies that happened that day,” Shah continued.

During the drama-filled taping, Shah was seen sporting a stunning, sequined gown made by designer Koa Johnson. However, as she recalled to Page Six, the dress nearly didn't make it to the New York City taping.

“Koa was running to the airport to hand me the gown when I was getting on the plane, because there’s little tweaks along the way. [With] a custom gown, there’s hundreds and hundreds of hours … every little sequin, every little feather is sewn on, and it’s very, very intensive,” she said.

Because the gown had so many intricate details, it took a whopping three weeks to make, even with six or seven people working hard to make sure it was just right. 

Prior to the creation of the gown, Shah met with the designer and came up with a concept that went along with the theme Bravo gave her and her cast mates.

“I kind of told him, ‘Here’s kind of what I like. Here’s kind of what I’m envisioning. I want one big sleeve, dramatic,'” she recalled. “And then he sketches it out and then our team sources the fabric and we start going from there and putting it all together."

"We had to get the sketch approved. And, you know, when you’re making a custom couture dress, you don’t have the gown. So you have to show them a sketch, show them the fabric, show them the details so they can say yes, and then you can go and make it,” Shah explained. 

Although she and her cast mates wrapped production on season one weeks ago, Shah said she wasn't yet done strutting her stuff in her custom-made gown.

“I’m just going to walk around in it. Just walk around the house and, you know, throw it on for Coach Shah,” she laughed.

Speaking of her husband's cameo, Shah said her husband stole the show. 

“Oh my gosh, Coach Shah was the star of the reunion,” she shared. “I’m not even kidding. He was the star of the reunion. He definitely got best dressed for the men. You know, he was in true Coach Shah fashion, inspirational, motivational.”
