Zach Roloff is back on his feet following an emergency brain surgery.
Although his wife, Tori, provided fans with a progress report after he got out of surgery, the reality star has kept himself away from social media. She once again shared an update, uploading a snap of him to prove to fans that he had recovered enough to engage in some family fun time.
Tori Roloff Shares New Image Of Zach On A Date With Their Son Jackson
The last few weeks have been rough for the Roloff family amid TLC’s reluctance to renew “Little People, Big World” after its 24th season, Zach’s business getting dissolved, and his recent health crisis. However, the 32-year-old demonstrated that he was unconcerned about all the drama when he posed for a picture with his son, Jackson.
The image, shared by Tori, showed the older Roloff wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt with a white undershirt and a face cap while his five-year-old son wore a gray long-sleeved shirt.

The tot leaned against his father, whose hands were folded on the table as he looked straight at the camera. Behind the twosome was a bright neon sign that read, “Let’s taco bout it,” indicating they were at a restaurant.
While it is impossible to tell when exactly the photo was captured, it does give fans a glimpse into what is happening in the reality TV couple’s life, especially after Tori’s February update. As reported by The Blast, the mother-of-three had taken to Instagram, where she dropped snaps of her beloved husband hooked up to different hospital devices.
The first image is a side profile of the patient, whose head is bandaged with wires sticking from his chest. His wife was by his side, placing her hand — filled with bangles and bracelets— in his hand as a form of solidarity.
The following slide showed Zach smiling and giving two thumbs up as he remained in the hospital bed. Tori’s caption was even more somber than the pictures as she wrote:
“Not exactly how we saw our week going….Zachary had [an] emergency shunt revision this morning. It’s been a scary 72 hours but he is doing well and recovering!!”
The 31-year-old went on to appreciate her loved ones and the team of neurosurgeons for their support, giving a special mention to Zach’s mother, Amy, for “holding down the fort and playing hide n seek for who knows how many hours.”
Tori further shared her hope that the operation would answer their prayers and help relieve Zach’s migraines, adding, “You’re a freaking bad a**, Zach. You just had brain surgery… and handled it like a rockstar. I’m so proud of you.”

The post quickly caught people’s eye, eliciting an outpour of love for the Roloff clan in the comment section, with several “praying for his speedy recovery.” Amy also praised her daughter-in-law for being “a trooper as well.”
Meanwhile, Mayo Clinic describes a shunt as a hollow tube draining cerebrospinal fluid from the brain to another body part where it can be more easily absorbed.
The Oregon Native Hints At Her Family’s Exit From ‘Little People, Big World’
The Blast reported in December 2022 that Tori addressed fans’ concerns about her family’s remaining time on television during a question and answer session on her Instagram Story.
The moment came when one person queried, “How long do you plan to be on television? Thanks for sharing your lives with us.” In response, the professional photographer wrote:
“I think our time is definitely coming to a close, but we’re trying to enjoy it while it’s here.”
She had first mentioned that her family’s time on the hit TLC series was wrapping up in another session she held in November. During that period, she had replied “Yes,” when a curious fan asked if she and Zach would ever “step away from filming” the show.
Tori neglected to provide any more information — or even a timeline — as to when the exit would occur. If the celebrity twosome does follow through on their plans to leave the show, it would be the end of an era following Zach’s twin brother Jeremy’s exit over four years ago.
His other siblings — Molly and Jacob — left the reality series in 2019.
